a true rural tourism experience at its best. Breakfast simple but with really good products, also fresh orange juice. excellent coffee. it is a 16th century house - much much better worth the money than a hotel for the same price. also the host offers much better hospitality than a hotel, incl. a classical concert on the premises.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The host was amazing, incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and effortless. The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We genuinely loved the charm and peaceful vibe of the city, it’s a hidden gem. We highly recommend both visiting this lovely place and staying at the same apartment. It truly made our trip unforgettable.

Nice room with air conditioning and fridge and tastefully decorated. The owner is very friendly. The breakfast is delicious and very extensive. Location is in a quiet village but close to the sights in the area. Absolute recommendation.

“Authentic stay in a quirky rural countryside Spainish town”

This is a highly authentic experience in a home environment with such a lovely, helpful host. The apartment was generous in size and you could be self contained in the apartment we had. The location is convenient to travel to Cadaques, Figueres and the nature park nearer the Bay of Roses. The town itself is not touristy in the least and is also an authentic rural experience in this part of Spain. The lovely host was easy to communicate with and only too happy to help when issues arose. Breakfast was great especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.

We planned to visit DALI TEATRO (Figueres) & DALI HOUSE (Port Llegat) .. Can Bayre-Casa is well situated to explore those and other know places o/t region (Gerona,.. ) The owner/host Cristina offered service with a big smile. 🔝 Qualify breakfast.

A delightful stay at an old "masia" right next to the church (whose bells are turned off at night!). Christina is absolutely charming, helpful and very kind. Great breakfast.

Quaint and cosy. Well appointed and great hostess Christina. Very responsive to all text messages prior to arrival. Friendly and informative. The property is tastefully renovated in a lovely village close to Roses.

Breakfast was great, and they went out of their way for us for my Husband's birthday!

“perfect rural stay”

The location is great, in the heart of a very lovely village, the outside terrace is the perfect place to take a very good breakfast which Christina provides. A warm friendly welcome makes the stay little special, thoroughly recommend.

Appartments are quite good and acceptable. But concider some critical issues. No AC in bedrooms, noisy area and very noisy clock bells each 15 mins from the temple nearby

The place is fabulous - antigue rural house perfectly equiped for modern life, decorated with lots of style and love and the way that kept the centuries of existance. All recomendations!

Very tastefully decorated house, originally from centuries back,. The rural location is very pleasant and relaxing, restaurants at approximately 5 km. Most kind and helpful host, speaks Spanish, French, English and German.

Beautiful house, nicely decorated, small patio with flowers to have breakfast at the foot of an old chapel, extremely nice hosts, nearby free parking

This is the second time we have visited and the welcome and service was just as good this time, we will return as Cristina is the perfect host!

The location is just far enough from tourist circuit but also just close enough to touristic cities. Very beautiful and calm environment. The staff was very kind and friendly, would absolutely come back !
