Breakfast was thorough & appetizing. Good healthy options with fresh fruits and a good selection of waters to start the day off. Would have liked bacon added to the breakfast as that is a good staple to add. Poached eggs were very good each day.

Among all the many hotels along the busy beach of Fortaleza the Gran Marquise is certainly an outstanding place to be. Nice rooms, great view, wonderful breakfast buffet fullfilling all your culinary desires and above all such an amiable, helpful staff at the reception, in the restaurant, room service and cleaning team. The view on the roof top is extraordinary, the gym spacious, the spa a great place to relax. And don't forget a visit to the bar where two barkeepers are real masters in the Caipirinha mixing art!

“You deserve better than this hotel with disastrous maintenance.”
Very old hotel - Miserable maintenance A few examples from a gran class room with see view: -The bathtub faucet mixer is leaking (picture) - The bathtub is made of low-quality, low-cost plastic. -An old sticker left on the window frame -The wooden floor is poorly glued Unacceptable poor service from the restaurant on top A few examples: -The waiter is playing games on his mobile phone and not attentive to customer requests -The menu is disgusting, pages stuck together by some unknown substance (picture) -The placemat is not cleaned and has stains from previous customers (picture) Unpleasant atmosphere A few examples -The rooftop pool is located in the middle of the restaurant tables -The jacuzzi is really old, name "Jacuzzi" on the plastic equipment -Very noisy breakfast room crowded with people -A man at the reception desk doesn't listen to the customer and recites what he has learned as the old president Biden was reading his prompter -Prices on booking platforms are sometimes cheaper than the official rates from granmarquise.com.br

Location was fabulous, safe, convenient. Staff was very pleasant, some in particular. Saulo and Paulo stand out. The spa was good but not excellent.
