I had a lovely stay in Kaswa Lodge, I spent 3 nights with them. Everyone was very friendly and helpful - Asabh / Oliveal / Raymond / the guys from the farm. The food is like homemade food, excellent quality and healthy. I've been hanging out with the cows/goats every day, walking around their farm/nature which is just right outside the lodges. I didn't expect that and It's a pleasant surprise. Location is very good, 10mins away from the busy town which is perfect for me because I didn't need to go to the town, the things I wanna do were cycling around the tea plantations and walking around the nature. But if you really want to check out the town, you can just hire a boda guy (they arranged for me) which would cost you UGX 30,000 for the whole day and he will drive you around.

Great place to spend time with the family. The kids were running around on the farm all day. Rooms are clean and cosy, food was good, the owners are very warm and welcoming.

“Quiet stay just outside of Fort Portal”

Quiet spot with a lovely garden just outside of Fort Portal. We originally booked for one night but immediately decided to stay another one. Staff is attentive and took care of us. Another highlight was the tour around the farm and saw a pregnant cow about to give birth :)

Kaswa Lodge is conveniently situated in Fort Portal on the main route between Queen Elizabeth NP and Murchison Falls NP. The lodge is part of a dairy farm surrounded by mountains and tea estates thus creating a rolling landscape. There is a vibrant birdlife on the lodge/farm premise with the chalets surrounded by a beautifully designed garden - all adding to a pleasant stop-over .

This was our favourite lodge during our trip. The lodge and rooms are very modern, new and quiet. The food was always fresh and very delicious and you could choose between many options. Thank you for the excellent service.

“Perfect hotel with great hosts”

The location was amazing. Super quiet and with a beautiful garden with banana trees. The staff was beyond words. Especially the lady. Super helpful, nice, professional and accommodating. We had dinner at the property and the food was very good and affordable. The breakfast was also very good. It was the perfect place for us, traveling with a kid, to stay in Fort Portal. Would love to come back.

“Excellent stay in beautiful, welcoming place.”

This place is a gem! My husband and I stayed here for three nights while exploring the region and it was a great pleasure to return every evening and have a nice meal on the very pleasant terrace overlooking a well maintained garden and beyond this over the lush valley, while watching the sun set. The bedroom was spacious with a great and comfortable bed, very tastefully decorated. Wifi excellent. It is a working farm and one can visit the milking of the cows. The staff was knowledgeable, very kind and helpful. We have stayed in other places in the region but this was by far the most charming and welcoming. Breakfast is served on your terrace and delicious. We heard from the owner that a dining hall/pavilion is being built as well as a swimming pool, which would be a great addition. We regretted having to leave.

Fantastic spot, part of an active farm. The nicest people (Robert en colleagues) who went beyond the extra mile to make our stay a success. I can recommend Kaswa Guest Farm with whole my heart!

Kaswa is in an idyllic location near Fort Portal. Raymond and Martha, as well as the staff are all very friendly and helpful. They encourage guests to visit/participate in the cow milking or calf feeding and to meet the goats! Each of the rooms is a lovely self-contained lodge with views towards the mountains. A delicious and ample breakfast is served on the terrace. We were delighted to discover Kaswa Guest Farm will also serve lunch or supper if needed for a reasonable price. We benefited from this on both evenings.

Hello everyone, We would really like to recommend this property for your individual or family trips on your way to or back from Queen Elizabeth National Park. First of all, the team was very welcoming from the point of arrival. We were welcomed with lovely drinks with fresh fruit juice, and even the management team was available. The other exceptional aspect of the property is that it's very clean. There are multiple options for you to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable stay with facilities to accommodate a family. And even if you forget your toothpaste toothbrush or soap, everything will be provided by the team. One last thing we really appreciated was the quality of the food. Either breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it is prepared by an amazing chef.
