The staff chose to put chemicals in the pool in the morning so none of the children could swim. We paid for a hotel until 11am check out time. The chemicals should have either been put in at midnight when swimming is closed or at 11am between check out and check in time for the next stayers. This was very frustrating for all the families! The staff was very rude about the situation on Saturday morning.

“Staff were friendly, nice little hotel - recommend having a car to get out and about.”
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The cost for this hotel was more expensive than other hotels in the area, but I thought it would be worth paying a bit more and have a swimming pool/gym/spa. Unfortunately this was closed for half of our stay, which was disappointing. The gym had a treadmill and cross-trainer in a small room within the pool area (which could not be accessed when the pool was closed). Complimentary self service breakfast was provided. There was a good selection of items to choose from omelette, bagels, muffins, cereals, yogurt, fruit and coffee/juice. There was a guest laundry room, which was really useful as we had stayed somewhere else prior. We used this to do some washing. Staff provided the change needed but not laundry products. Plenty of parking available.
