“Feels like home.”
Stan is a great person, it is his home and it sure feels like it. He received me with a warm welcoming and a fresh coconut :). He has a vast knowledge of an island's plants but also physics, chemistry and many other topics. During your stay you can use common areas- kitchen, living room and last but not least- a huge terrace with a view of the bay. He let me stay after the check out time and offered a transport to the airport. Next time in Martinique I will for sure book a stay with him.

The location was perfect, only a 10 minutes walk into town.There is a lovely view of tois islet on the terrace.The host (stephan) is very welcoming and was very helpful.My overall stay was just perfect, I look forward to another stay there on my next trip to fort de france.😀

Stan is a very friendly host. Beautiful view from.the terrace. Just about a 10 minute walk down to Fort de France, only. A good Brasilian restaurant even closer.

“BaySide - A Home Away From Home”
If there is a desire for a home away from home experience, BaySide is an excellent choice. Stan, the owner, is an amazing host and goes beyond the call of duty to ensure a comfortable stay. At BaySide, getting to town is a mere ten minute walk but if this seems alot, then you could take advantage of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Did I mention the view? No I didnt! Had I not, then this review would incomplete. The view of the Bay is immaculate! Will definitely repeat!

Stan was kind enough to collect me from the ferry port and let me check in early, and take me back again. He is very sociable and went out of his way to help me to the hospital when some muggers on the bridge attacked me at night.
