“Our application to stay was granted at short notice. We were met by the site owner who explained everything thoroughly.”
Whilst this location was peacefully rural, it was only approximately 10-15 mins from habitation. The cabins are reasonably well spaced out to promote privacy.

“Lovely, peaceful getaway.”
Loved staying here, a good base for exploring the area. The lodge was very comfortable with lots of space and had everything we needed. Kids loved hanging out in the play park and having freedom to run about. Simon was a great host and had a useful map to show us things to do and places to go for food. We will definitely be back!

“Relaxing, Beautiful and Peaceful Area”
We were greeted by Simon, a very friendly and helpful gentleman who explained everything from what to do in the lodge to where to go for food and where to visit the good spots around the area. The lodge were clean, tidy and felt even better than home. The lodge is well equipped and no need to take any extras, as the lodge has it all. A peaceful and quiet area and definitely a spot for stargazing.

“I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!”
The property is on grounds of somewhere that is so peaceful and beautiful. It is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed and would 100% recommend booking Tullochwood Lodges. We travelled from Kent and arrived the next morning and both Simon and Michelle were amazing and so accommodating to us. We stayed for Christmas and there was even christmas tree in the lodge! It was a wonderful experience for our little families as we booked two lodges for our stay. We visited Aviemore on Christmas Eve and that was an absolutely amazing experience, in the day we went to the reindeer center and it wasn’t expensive to go inside and meet the reindeers, then the evening we waited for the Christmas Eve parade which consisted of Father Christmas being pulled by reindeers, bagpipe band playing, the procession ended with an amazing display of fireworks and this was all free, not something we had ever experienced before, thank you Scotland. We also travelled to Glencoe and took the children sledging, there is still so much more to see we will definitely be booking Tullochwood Lodges again.

“A wonderfully peaceful stay in a fabulous location, with very helpful hosts.”
Our lodge had everything that we needed, and we were warm and toasty each evening. It was nice to have nearby neighbours in adjacent lodges but we still felt private. The grounds were wonderful, with well signed pathways. We were sincerely grateful that we could take our three well behaved dogs, and felt our stay was special as we could all be together. Fabulous location too, as we were just a short drive from Forres and other wonderful east coast locations. All supported by a helpful map and write-up on local sights, shops and facilities; much appreciated!

“If I could score higher than 10 I would”
Location is phenomenal, set within private woodland with a half a mile woodland walk starting outside the lodge. The grounds were well kept, as was the lodge. Clean and tidy with everything you need for a few days away. The shower was excellent. Loved the little patio for enjoying the surroundings. The hosts were super informative with a very detailed guide to the area, and very welcoming of my dogs. You get a wonderful treat of the dark sky once the sun sets and a sky full of stars and even the aurora if it rises high enough (trees obscure the horizon slightly). Local beaches are a wonderful treat , especially Nairn, roseile and lossiemouth east. And Brodie castle is only 15 mins away which is a great day out. If you like wildlife rspb loch spynie is also a short trip. Can't wait to return. This has to be the best place I have stayed with the dogs so far, due to the grounds the lodge is set within.

“Amazing place that felt like a mansion! Well worth it!”
Amazing size, has everything you need for a relaxing stop over. I liked the extra touches; torches, smart tv, iron, insect repellent, comfy seating area outside and indoors. It’s the perfect place to go and enjoy the scenery of Scotland, will definitely book again
