“Great value for money”

The hotel is beautiful, with such friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and there was secure bike storage. A perfect place to stay if riding the Avenue Verte.

The hotel has clearly had some refurbishment and the lobby and common areas looked bright and welcoming. Staff were friendly.Check in was smooth and the location is perfect for exploring the area and for cyclists riding along the Avenue Verte. The secured storage room for bicycles was a plus.Vorges les Eaux is a must to visit.

It’s a great location, nice staff, good breakfast and somewhere secure to lock bicycles away.

we have stayed before. the first thing we do is strip the bed and start again as they use the thickest duvets and it was very hot at the end of June. No AC. the road outside can be a bit noisy BUT it does quieten down later... the bed is very very comfy in fact 2 doubles pushed together so plenty of room. very good shower and nice sized bathroom. nice quiet room at the end of the corridor so no elevator noise or being disturbed by other guests which is great as we had the dog with us. very safe/plenty of room for parking. Good restaurants within walking distance - we will stay again and we do recommend - just 2 hours from Le shuttle too.

The location and parking. Friendly, helpful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Powerful, hot shower.

The space was v good. The ceiling high and good room size. Situation excellent for Aveue Verte cyclists . Lockable bike room. Good breakfast and we could make a picnic lunch for our days cycling. Bath had lots of hot water. There is a coffee machine in the breakfast room which does hot chocolate etc and this is essential as no kettle in the room. The garden view was nice.the windows open and it is quiet. The bed was comfortable.

“Great short stay in a lovely hotel”

It’s in a lovely location near to the town and just off the Avenue Verte if you are cycling . They have good facilities for storing your cycles. Good choice of breakfast at the buffet .

Power was out for the day, so they moved us to a nearby hotel, far more comfortable and luxurious, at no cost. It was all perfect!

Good parking around the back of the hotel, easy check-in large room with a balcony at the front but it was boiling hot, it was a rainy day but the room was very hot, we had to turn off the bathroom radiator and open the balcony doors. the mattress was comfortable BUT the bed was made so tight you had to un-make it to get in, there is no restaurant on site, but they do serve breakfast in a room off the main lobby, but there is a restaurant next door called "Valhalla" that serves good pub grub style food at very reasonable prices. Good shower and separate toilet, small bottled water in room and some shower gel etc

“Lovely Building.......on an Extremely Busy and Noisy Road”

What I DIDN'T like was the constant noise from outside. The hotel is on a junction on a VERY busy road. The general traffic is constant all day until around midnight. Then the boy racers start with their popping exhaust and excessive speed. The hotel has no air conditioning so, in a heat wave, we had to sleep with the windows open. It was impossible to sleep until around 2am. In the morning, around 6am, the traffic starts again. At 9am there was a delivery made by a very large refrigerated lorry, who left his engine running throughout the whole delivery, right underneath our window. There are also tables outside where people sit talking loudly. For this reason alone, we will not use this hotel again. I expect to be able to get a good nights sleep and it was impossible at this hotel, in the room we were in (115, right above the front door). We travel a lot and I can say, hand on heart, this is the noisiest hotel we've ever stayed in. It's such a shame because the hotel itself is lovely. Other than that, we had a very pleasant welcome from a friendly gentleman. The hotel reception is very impressive and our room was a good size, with quality towels and bedding. The beds (we had twin beds) were very comfortable, although the pillows were very lumpy and need replacing. Parking is good, being round the back of the hotel. There is an elevator to the upper floors. Our room was carpeted and so were the corridors, which we like. The windows are very large, letting in lots of light. The room was large, with lots of space to move around. We were charged €5 for one night for our small dog, which we feel is fair It's a real pity about the noise, as we'd love to have stayed here again but it really is just too much.

Very convenient for the motorway, safe parking and very helpful receptionist, even came up with an electric kettle and fresh milk for my wife's tea! Good value for money.
