“Well located, warm and friendly”

This hotel turned out to be quite the surprise. Picked for its proximity to the railway station and because, well, there wasn’t much else left for Walberlafest weekend, we were expecting something pretty bland and featureless, and whilst the architecture probably won’t be winning many prizes, the hotel it contains is warm, friendly and comfortable. The room was of a decent size and with nothing really to complain about. The shower was powerful, the bathroom while appointed, the beds provided for a good night sleep (or was that the Beer?). We had breakfast next door in BrotHaus rather than in the hotel, but the staff at reception and in the bar were friendly, and there was a good atmosphere on the ground floor generally. The hotels Location is also noteworthy. Whilst some distance from the town and Kellerwald, if you get the right exit from the bahnhof (side gate at the southern end of platform one) it is literally two minutes away along the pavement.

The morning breakfast and bar food in the evening were just what was needed. Staff very friendly and helpful, in English too; thank you. Bed very comfortable and noise insulation from the main road outside our room window was very good.

Excellent location near the station. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms, very good beds. I was here for a business meeting and would chose the hotel again without hesitation.

Hotel is located right next to the train stop, which is very convenient (and it's not loud even with opened windows). Right next to the hotel there is a VERY NICE cafe BrotHaus, so you can have breakfast there also. Forchheim itself is quiet and nice, and Bamber is only couple of train stops away.

It is a nice and comfortable room. But sadly everything vibrates in the room as doors open and close elsewhere and that will startle you from your sleep in the morning. The bar is quite overpriced but there are good options close by. Oh the breakfast is way overpriced unless you can eat like a T-Rex in the morning, if not next door is a very nice backery with seats and everything you could possibly need for breakfast.
