“Great stay in a slightly quirky castle”
What a wonderful place. Magnificent and huge room and the best ham and eggs ever. Castle had an engagingly disordered authentic air, so much better than a 'luxury' makeover and the staff was so welcoming and charming

“Beautiful, comfortable and enchanting”
The setting and staff were nice. The breakfast was good. The castle itself was beautiful and fascinating. The Italian restaurant downstairs was good. It is also a short and pleasant walk to the train or bus to Forchheim.

The location is great. The castle houses a good Italian restaurant. From its terrace you have a nice view over the village and valley in front of the castle.
