Fantastic studio appointment. Very clean. A small kitchen, but well stocked. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom. The village is amazing, lots to do and see. You dont need to cook as the restaurants are great.

Very good breakfast brought to us by the host every morning. Very comfortable bed. Location is excellent, Fontevraud- l'Abbaye is a beautiful village with a fabulous Abbey. La Licorne restaurant nearby is excellent.

Extremely comfortable bed and the pillows were perfect. Great sized bathroom and shower. Apartment bigger and nicer than it looks in pictures. Very friendly host who delivered the most fabulous breakfast, was a real treat. Convenient and safe parking just across the road. Thanks Gavin

A beautiful, calm, sympathetically restored and comfortable space. Everything was lovely and a stones throw from the fabulous abbey. We felt v welcomed and looked after by Gavin and Jacqueline and our breakfast was delicious.

“Stunning apartment in cute town”

Stunning design, very comfortable apartment in small, characterful town. Breakfast brought to our apartment in the morning. All fresh bakery goods with jam, cheese etc. Easy parking in free car park opposite

“Comfortable stay. Excellent host”

Very spacious and beautifully designed room in an old building. Cool in the heat. Good kitchen space. Very friendly and accommodating host who provided breakfast for us despite our very early departure. We also stored our bikes in his garage. 3 mins walk to Abbey and lovely central square.

“Quiet studio with « cachet » in the heart of Fontévraud”

We had a great stay at Studio La Grange. The owners were very welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was really a big plus that we appreciated very much. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious.

The location was fantastic in a beautiful French village, the hosts Gavin and Jacqueline were amazing - you accommodation fantastic and the breakfast outstanding. If you are in this area, stay here you will not regret it.

The breakfast was out of this world and set us for the day. To be fair, I must admit that this was one of the most enjoyable meals in our lives. The village was clean and tidy and plenty to see and do. Would certainly stay again.

“Best place on my whole trip”

Best place I stayed in during this trip. I could live here :-) Beautiful, quiet, spacious and nicely decorated studio. Comfortable bed, huge bathroom with great shower. All the supplies you could ask for (coffee/tea, shampoo etc, good wifi, even Netflix) On top of that I got a delicious breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, different kinds of bread. Very friendly owners live nextdoor. Could park my bike safely in their shed. A few minutes walk to the abbey, which is very much worth taking a few hours to visit.

Everything was outstanding and perfect in every way….. a beautiful little property that is exceptionally well presented and decorated…..the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower superb and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. The property is in the heart of the village with its iconic abbey and nearby there is a brilliant restaurant….what more could anyone want…just perfect.

Arrival late at night to a super cute place with everything all perfectly arranged with lots of thoughtful touches, inc wine [very much appreciated after a long & hot journey]! It was exceptionally hot with a heatwave well under way; Gavin & Jac had provided a fan, & were really considerate checking on us, doing what they could, offering extra light bedding, towels etc. The breakfast was just lovely, far exceeded what we would expect of a B & B, lots of fresh everything. Unfortunately [& pretty stupidly!] we left some precious belongings behind as we moved on to the Charente region. Gavin & Jacqueline went out of their way to help us be reunited with them. Despite lots of messages & arrangements as to how to get these things, they never lost patience & really happily helped in many ways. They really were fabulous going above & beyond! We can't thank you enough Gav & Jac! Xxx

“Great stay in a great location”

Spacious apartment with kitchenette, large bathroom, large and comfortable bed, just off the road with free parking across the road and a few minutes walk to the abbey and restaurants. Very nice breakfast delivered to the door by our friendly and helpful hosts. The best stay in 4 weeks across the top of Italy and through France. Highly recommend.
