A beautiful little house, full of character, and with wonderful facilities. In the heart of the countryside, La Maison Neuve offers an oasis of peace. Its pet-friendliness was a big bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected breakfast. The eggs….delicious! 😉

Our 2nd stay here travelling through with our dog. Its spacious, comfortable, private with everything you could possibly need to relax.

Fruit juice, yoghurt, bread, butter etc. Delicious home-made jams. All you could need was available in the room. Fresh brioche offered but we declined as we needed to leave very early. Charming property although a little difficulty to find in the dark, even with a sat-nav. Would happily stay there again, but would bring something to eat in the evening as there didn't seem to be anywhere to eat locally (but it was midwinter!).

Perfectly situated on route to Roscoff from the south. A little off the main highway and so quiet and picturesque. Beautiful little place with outside seating area where you can watch the sun go down and listen to owls. My host supplied everything I could possibly need, tea’s, coffees, a French loaf and a massive brioche! And cookies! There was milk and butter, jam and orange juice in the fridge. Hot showers and a comfortable large double bed. Very welcoming and a great price for the night. I wished I could have stayed longer as it was perfect 🤩

A wonderful little place. The photographs don't do it justice. Impeccably clean and comfortable, in a great location for exploring the Marais Poitevin. But the most wonderful surprise was the food! On arrival we were given hazelnut cookies, fresh orange juice, a fresh baguette, and the fridge had homemade jam, milk, and butter inside. In the pantry was cereals, crispbreads, every type of tea or coffee you could need. The next morning Françoise dropped another fresh baguette and an enormous loaf of local brioche outside the door. Luxury! So generous and very unexpected. La Maison Neuve truly has everything you need. Small but perfectly formed. A well stocked kitchen, cleaning products, even a sewing kit. Loads of games, play equipment in the garden, toiletries... Françoise truly has thought of everything. It's obvious a lot of love has gone into the place. We enjoyed playing "spot the aeroplane"! Wish we had booked for longer than one night!

From Arrival we were greeted by a smiling gentleman and two friendly dogs. These Hosts could run a master class on how it should be done. Apart from the delightful little house, which has been put together with great care and attention to detail, there is the unexpected of finding all the added comforts. Fresh bread, and little local biscuits are on the table, in the fridge, all you would need to breakfast well. We sat outside with a glass of wine, as the sun went down, we could see for miles across the flat landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would like to return. if you are thinking of booking this accommodation do it, I am sure you wont be dissappointed.

Home from home. Everything is thought of at this accommodation. We have been twice now and will return - love it! Such a peaceful location with lovely outdoor area. Comfy beds and very well equipped kitchen/lounge/bedroom and bathroom. The host went above our expectations and was so kind and friendly.
