Agritur Melango is a working farm in Castelfondo, 28 km from Kaltern. It offers colourful rooms in a historic 17th century building. The farm produces apples and cherries, which can be enjoyed on site. The rooms all come with wooden furnishings, tiled floors, and a beamed ceiling. The private bathroom includes a shower. Breakfast is served in the morning. Guests of the Melango have access to a ski and luggage storage room. “Convenient place near Mandela pass”
Very friendly owners who are working at the property but not living there. Very tranquil place unless there is a youth disco weekend which I had a chance to endure. Very little sleep for two days until early morning. Make sure you ask to avoid. Otherwise very pleasant modern place with nice walks and rides around. Plenty of help from the owners for guidance around the interesting places to see.
