An absolutely unique place. First of all – a breathtaking, stunning sea view that leaves a huge impression at any time of day. “The Roof on the Sea” in Fondachello is also a perfect base for visiting other cities in Sicily. We planned to stay for 5 days, but during our stay Sicily was hit by Cyclone Harry. On Tuesday there was a power outage, and due to circumstances beyond the owner’s control, we had to change our accommodation on Wednesday morning. We were safe, but the conditions made it impossible to continue our stay. We especially want to highlight the amazing attitude of the owner, Giuseppe. He was incredibly kind, responsible and supportive — he stayed in constant contact with us, gave us advice, helped us with everything, and even arranged two additional nights for us in Catania. Because we couldn’t stay at his place, we were not charged for the unused nights. This truly shows his class, honesty and genuine care for guests. We will definitely come back in summer — Sicily is beautiful, and this place has huge potential. ❤️ Highly recommended!

We rented this place second time. Apartment had all what we needed. We enjoyed seaview and walks on the beach. Giuseppe, our host was very nice and helfull. We do recomend this place for families.

The best thing is the terrace with the view of the sea. Every room has its own air conditioning. The communication with Giorgo was excellent. He was very helpful.

“Breathtaking views”
The location, view on the sea. It was easy to check in and out. It wasn't season yet so it was peaceful. There was a fisherman nearby selling fresh fish every morning.
