Amazing apartment, very clean modern and private, perfect for a family of 4. Two youngest shared the second room as only 5 and 7. Really enjoyed the private and peaceful balcony which was a lovely sun trap. Perfect for visiting the local memorial sites and museums. Hosts were very kind, helpful and informative also: Thank you!

The apartment was clean, warm and comfortable. The hosts were lovely. It had everything we needed and is perfectly located to explore the Somme battlefields and sites. We loved it.

The accommodation was 100% the nicest we have booked in the area. exceptionally clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very welcoming and polite. The standards were extremely high and I would not hesitate to stay again! Excellent location for WW1 sights and Arras. 100% would recommend.

Everything we wanted for our short break was in one package. The property was exceptional….clean, well equipped (great shower), comfortable and in a superb location for WW1 historians/enthusiasts being at the very north of the Somme first day line. Thiepval, Beaumont Hamel, Lochnagar Crater etc are all within easy driving distance. Our hosts were very welcoming and were available for any help or problems that we may have encountered. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would recommend this property without hesitation.

The village location was quiet and within 20 minutes of every location we intended to visit. I liked the modern high end finish of the property and it included everything we needed for a great stay.

The location was excellent, as we planned to visit many of the WW1 sites, which are close by. The hosts were very welcoming, and took time to explain the workings of the apartment and the location of nearby facilities. There was plenty of room in the apartment, which appeared to be almost completely new, or refurbished, to a very high standard. Unfortunately, we had to leave the property early and the hosts could not have been more understanding and sympathetic - we will be returning next year. For anyone looking for a quiet location with excellent facilities, this could not be more appropriate - we really felt at home.

We absolutely loved this place - everything is prepared for a family to feel at home. The village is nice and coquette, the apartment is very spacious and highly functional. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. The terrace overseeing the veggies garden is just perfect to take the dinner or the breakfast on. I also loved that there was a washing machine available. The private entrance was excellent to give you privacy. We had a wonderful time exploring the surroundings and coming back at evening to a quiet and cozy home. Thank you, dear hosts, for allowing us to have an exquisite experience.

The location is quiet and ideally situated for visiting World War 1 battlefields and memorials. The village is small and tranquil, the accommodation easy to access, with its own private entrance. Parking space outside the front door. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Very warm and spacious. Our hosts were lovely, and very welcoming. As it is a rural location, be prepared to travel to the nearest town for shops and restaurants. There is a butchers shop in the village if required. However there is plenty of equipment to cater for home cooking and the surroundings ideal to come back to and relax. An added bonus is there is a washing machine too.

Fantastic apartment. Well equipped, excellent comfortable bed, lovely balcony overlooking the garden. Lovely hospitable hosts. Beer and water in the fridge, and fresh lettuce from the garden.

Located in a small tranquil village, our hosts were most welcoming, kindly making a reservation for us at a nearby restaurant. The apartment has been tastefully furnished, super comfy beds, generous space, light and airy and thoughtfully equipped with everything guests would need. Due to the rural location guests should be prepared to either self-cater or have own transport to reach the nearest town, restaurants. There are no taxi services available. A great location for a quiet getaway, also well situated for WW1 battle sights.
