A very nice view and large, cozy apartments. Everything you need for a comfortable stay and a good rest, even a jacuzzi. The whole family was delighted with the place, the country, and their vacation in Follonica.

“Amazing stay”

We just returned from an absolutely amazing stay at Via Firenze and I must say it exceeded our expectations! We even extended our stay – thankfully it was possible. Accommodation Clean, luxurious house with 4 apartments. Each apartment offers privacy and incredible sea views. The whole house is filled with a wonderful scent from an Aqua d'Alba diffuser (I already got one for home!). The beds are comfortable and in the kitchen you'll find everything you need, including a small capsule coffee maker – a few capsules were provided. Amenities There are plenty of things available to borrow for the beach: umbrella, sun loungers, inflatable toys for children. The whirpool on the rooftop terrace is a great bonus! Location The beach is 3 minutes away via a side street from the apartment. The sea near the apartment is great, you can go paddleboarding and the beach is suitable for children. We cycled to the center of Follonica, but there are ice cream shops and stores all around. You can also cycle nicely to Cala Violina beach (don't forget to make a reservation!). Parking is right next to the apartment with a reserved space. Owner Martina was very accommodating, helpful and friendly – thank you so much for everything! Minor note The only thing I would appreciate would be screens on the windows and balcony (but there are terraces everywhere, so I don't know if this would be feasible to solve). There might be some noise during high season, but we visited during the transition between high and low season and it was perfect – not many people anywhere. Tip We were there at the turn of high and low season and it was great – it wasn't crowded anywhere. Conclusion: Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! If we didn't have a 14-hour drive, we'd be back within a month! :) Highly recommend for families with children and couples looking for a peaceful holiday by the sea.

Very welcoming host who truly cares about her guests and the apartment. We received a great introduction upon arrival to all the opportunities and activities in the area. The beach is right in front of the house, with restaurants and grocery stores very close by. The apartment is modern, spacious, and beautifully designed, featuring two terraces. Parking is available directly on the property. Located in a quieter part of the city, it’s one of the best holiday spots we have ever visited. Highly recommended!

Everything was excellent. It was the best accomodation and the most friendly host I've experienced in 10 years Im using booking.com. Apartment was spacious. Absolutely clean, full of light. Two huge teraces. Sea view. Sun terase on the top of the building with jacuzzi. If I could I would rate it 12 out of 10 😉. If you go to Follonica this is the place to stay.

Perfect location, perfect accommodation with very nice apartment, top roof sun deck, checkin, balconies and view. Nice restaurants close by.

Everything top. Clean, nicely and functionally furnished flat, with large windows, terrace and sea view; great location; hot tub on the roof was great. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful, answered every question and at the end they efficiently helped us to "revive" our car battery :)

Great roof top terrace, very friendly and helpful owners, appartment was cozy and very clean, well equipped kitchen, shared washing machine and storage room, walking distance to center, good location one small street behind the beach.

“Top-Notch Apartment in a First-Class Location.”

Beautifully presented apartment in a small, modern block just a few steps away from the beach. We loved the sea views from the balcony and the roof terrace (which has sun beds and a jacuzzi for the use of residents). It was a joy to wake up and take coffee on the balcony and we enjoyed the amazing sunsets from here too. The bed linen and towels were top-notch and the apartment was immaculately clean. Just wish we could have stayed longer! We would have no hesitation in booking here again if we were to re-visit Follonica. One minor drawback was the residents' garage; we found it nigh-impossible to steer our hire car into it! But there is street parking available and we always found somewhere outside to park (in October). In short, we loved it!

“A perfect holiday let next to the beach!”

We have been staying in holiday lets for the past 25 years, at first with 2 - 4 kids, now the luxury of just together - the kids have flown the nest. Without doubt, this is the best organised holiday let we have experienced - the devil is in the detail - on arrival, we went straight to the supermarket to buy dishwasher tabs, sponges and washing up liquid, only to find that Martina has already supplied them, even coffee for the morning espresso - the towels are superb, details which we have actually learned to take by ourselves, sharp knives, a knife sharpener, all we have got used to taking with us, as there is nothing worse than a blunt knife - all unnecessary as all was provided! Parking great, 5 m from the beach, and 5m from a excellent fish restaurant - will we come back? we would be mad not too! Martina and Umberto! many thanks and as Arne said, we will be back!
