Lovely feel to the place

“Great!”

Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower.

A beautiful historical place with great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We visited off season in late May and restaurants were still closed in most of Åland archipelago, but we were offered a tasty meal and drinks when we were arrived which was a lovely surprise. Had the best Åland pancake here on our trip. A nice sitting area and jetty by the sea for an evening and morning dip. Showers and toilets are in a separate building, but everything was very clean. Also a little kitchen room with a fridge for your food. I recommend visiting in May when the apple trees and lilacs are blooming and you get the whole place for yourself!

The guesthouse was very close to Föglö centrum and ferry. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is a tiny nature trail in the backyard and in the afternoon you can spot deer on the field next to the yard.

Possibility to swim and eat breakfast outdoors. Nice and quiet location with walking distance from the restaurants in the village.

We stayed in this historic house for only one night during a bicycle trip through the Aland islands, but it would have been worth to stay longer. Incredibly friendly host, very tasty meals (perch filet highly recommended), sauna with direct access to the sea.

Very friendly & helpful staff who did everything to make our stay great. Rooms & surroundings are lovely with an old charm, pictures online really don’t do the place justice. Great breakfast, could be more vegan options. Highly recommend booking the sauna at the seaside, was a nice highlight on our last evening. Will be back!
