“Great hotel with amazing water park for childrens”

Amazing hotel ! All was perfect, the room , the food , the staff , the greace restaurant and the food was delicious. Special thanks to reception staff especially to Teta from guest service. Thanks to beautiful waitress Crestina from Ukraine for her service and to all other hotel staff. The excellent service, hospitality, and support we received from her throughout our stay have made our experience truly memorable. Thank you very much for everything! We have truly enjoyed our stay at your hotel and greatly appreciate the excellent hospitality. Thank you again for making our stay so enjoyable.

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly, the whole resort was cleaned each and every day. The rooms were cleaned also everyday, bar fridge was always stacked. Food was realy realy good.

“Nice beach but not a 5 star resort”

Liked the beach and the watersports. Nice terrace to sit in the evening.

> There were insects in the rooms and we got bitten a lot, and the rooms were small. The quality of the drinks was poor. When you go down to the beach or the pools, you won’t find a single sunbed because the resort has a large number of visitors and the space cannot accommodate them, which is a big mistake. The design of the resort is very bad and exhausting, with lots of walking, uphill and downhill paths. The staff were good in their dealings. I do not recommend it and I will never repeat the experience.

3rd time in the resort in Crete and it only gets better and better. New renovation of plaza and pool area are amazing. We stayed at a sea front room which were part of the latest renovations - all worth the upgrade vs the double rooms.

The food was good, lots of variety and to a good standard. Food was presented well and the restaurant kept neat and tidy. The staff in the restaurant were helpful and attentive. The location was lovely and had great views. Our children enjoyed the kids club and the staff there were good.

Fantastic selection of food

“Summer 2024 Crete Fodele Beach Resort”

Pleasant atmosphere. Specious room and very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff that also includes the lifeguards in the water park area Everyone was awesome and took care of the little ones. Although there is a lot of walking between the rooms and the main facilities there is a train as seen in the below photo that is operating from 10am until 21:30 and passing through the road outside the rooms and you can hop on and hop off. Before and after the operating time of the train, you can request a lift to or out of your room, and the employees with golf cars will pick you up. Our special thanks to all the groomer boys and especially Sofoklis, which were top of the top service and always with the smile. These people were our first positive impression of the hotel and also our last will leaving. Keep the good work, boys, and I am sure the hotel management will recognize the value and impact that you have to the customers!!

Accomodation was great, much needed air con was working well and facilities for kids were excellent including water slides. Food was a really high standard especially for an all inclusive hotel.

“Mixed Experience at a Supposed 5-Star Resort”

Animation and Kids Club: The animation team was composed of nice individuals, but they lacked the maturity and professionalism you’d expect from a luxury resort. The entertainment felt more suited to a kindergarten than a high-end hotel. As for the Kids Club, it was a letdown. The activities were limited to coloring and watching movies, with no indoor playground or engaging programs. Additionally, the language barrier was an issue with some animators, who struggled with English and didn't effectively supervise the children. Given that the club is located near the beach, the lack of secure supervision made us uncomfortable with leaving our child there. Food and Drink: The food was generally good, but there was a noticeable gap between lunch and dinner with limited options available, which can be a problem for kids who are often hungry after swimming. The drink selection was also quite limited, with only four cocktails, beer, and wine available during the day. Don’t expect to find a broader variety like a Long Island or similar. Guest Relations and Amenities: The guest relations service was a highlight, with staff regularly checking in to ensure our stay was going well. They were also helpful in arranging transportation, such as booking a taxi to the airport. Pool and Beach: If you’re visiting during the high season, be prepared to secure your spot by the pool early—around 7 AM. Otherwise, you may struggle to find a place. Fortunately, the beach area tends to have more available loungers. Many reviews mention the stairs throughout the resort, but this wasn't a major issue for us. A tram runs during the day, and small cars transport guests to their rooms in the evening.
