“A great place to spend Christmas and Hogmanay”

We had the most magical Christmas and New Year stay at this wonderful cottage. From the moment we arrived, Claire made us feel incredibly welcome; she was the perfect host, always available if we needed her while giving us total privacy to enjoy our holiday. As a couple following a plant-based diet, we were blown away by the thoughtfulness of the host. Claire had prepared a stunning welcome basket specifically tailored to our dietary needs, which included some absolutely delicious home-made vegan shortbread – such a kind touch that started our stay on a high note. The cottage itself exceeded all expectations. It was exceptionally spacious and spotlessly clean, with comfy beds that ensured a restful night's sleep throughout our stay. For those who love to cook, the kitchen is a dream—there is an excellent selection of utensils and equipment, making our festive meal prep a breeze. The cottage also boasts a fantastic location that made our holiday even more memorable. We were treated to wide sweeping sea views and had easy access to lovely walks. A particular highlight was seeing a pair of seals in the Spey most mornings, a truly special experience. What truly touched us was Claire’s incredible generosity during a bout of wintry weather. Knowing that heavy snow was forecast for our return date, she reached out and offered us an extended stay to ensure we didn't have to travel in dangerous conditions. This was such an amazing gesture, and we are so grateful for her care and hospitality. We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough for a festive getaway. Thank you, Claire, for making our 2025 Christmas break so special!

welcome basket was nice surprise. house was very spacey and very well equipt and nicely decorated. fence is all the way around so we could have dogs on the garden without worry. Also enought space to park 2 cars on property. there were also 3 bicycles available in garage.

The cottage was perfect for our family of 7 and a dog over looking the beach. Spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for a lovely week. The cottage exceeded our expectations from the pictures and was very homely with big garden at front and back. We would definitely recommend this for a large family or friends holiday and will hopefully be back next year.
