Right by the River Drina and the state road connecting Sarajevo with Dubrovnik, Motel Bavaria has an a la carte restaurant and offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking. Located on the main road with the 'garden' to the river below. The cottages are what you want to book. Staff is super friendly.

Amazing view on the river Drina! Bungalow was very sweet and cozy. The whole place was very neat and tidy, and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was yummy and more than enough. Loved our stay there, wish it could have lasted longer.

Good location to go in the mountains, beautiful climate around apartment, river, mountains, calm and easy to relax. Delicious food in the restaurant! Very nice womans in stuff, we could speak in polish, bosnian, srpski, english. ;)

I do not recommend this accommodation to solo female travellers. During my stay, the male host (who runs the place together with his wife), made multiple inappropriate comments; shortly before my check-out, he entered my room uninvited and made repeated advances that included physical contact. I reported the incident to Booking.com and filed a detailed official report with the police in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Instead of acknowledging the incident, the female host first informed me they were getting a lawyer, and then offered me a voucher for a free stay for two people — which I found entirely inappropriate and dismissive of the seriousness of the situation. The lack of accountability and the way this was handled made the situation even more concerning. This is not a safe or respectful environment for women traveling alone; please stay away from it! PS if something happens, report it immediately to police in Foča — it took me two days to come back to senses and pull myself together to go to police, by which time I was already in Mostar (and there is less they can do there about something that happened on the territory of Republika Srpska).
