Great atmosphere and super social. The staff is super friendly and the location is great. Make no mistake this is a party hostel, so if you want peace and quiet maybe look somewhere else

“Cool hostel in Barra”
The hostel is in a good location, very close to the beach and to the centre. It has a bar and a dj almost every night. It’s good if you’re looking for party, otherwise may be a bit too noisy. Kitchen is ok to cook simple plates and breakfast is very good! The volunteers working there were all super nice and friendly.

“Good part hostel for the weekend”
Great hostel for meeting new friends, go out, bar and party open til 12. All the volunteers and the owner were super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend for making new friends, nice outside space with bar, tiny pool to refresh, good WiFi connection, plugs near the beds, large lockers, 2 full bathrooms plus more toilets and showers, large kitchen with all you need, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, right behind tu beach and hiking trails. If you planning to stay somewhere quiet, I think is not the place as it’s more of party hostel at the weekend, during the week is quiter

The hostel is really nice. Small hostel, not a party place, but a nice hang out place. Staff is really nice and helpful. The hostel is just around the corner from a beautiful beach. Great for first time surfers as well as more advanced.

The girls working there were always happy to help. The bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen were cleaned every day. A lot supermarkets near by. One beach is one minute away, there is a nicer smaller beach 10 minutes away and there are Bus Stations to get to nicer beaches (the Mole Beach is really nice and just 20 minutes by Bus)
