The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I asked to drop my bag earlier and they were happy with this and also allowed me to check in to the room 2hrs earlier which was so kind as it was a very very hot day. Thank u! Also filtered water free The location is great as its where all the main tours leave from. I was worried about the music from the bar but I was tired from most of my days and fell asleep with my earplugs anyway and the music didn't stay past the early morning Best sunset across the water too There's a fan on each bed which helped with the heat too Thanks to all the lovely staff

I stayed for two nights and was upgraded to a private room, which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful in arranging transfers and tours.

Each bed has a locker assigned. The kitchenette is very basic, yet it has all that I need. The terrace is pleasant. I could pay by card with no extra charge both the stay and the tour. The receptionist was very kind helping me with my cash struggles because the ticket to Yaxha can only be paid cash (Tikal/Uaxactun can be paid online by card on the official websites). The hostel is located just in front of the bus stop in the island, which is your open-air prison (especially at night, don’t dare to go anywhere else as it is dangerous, although much less than any other part of Guatemala). The hotelier was responsive to the messages on booking.com app prior to my arrival, which is very important for the organization of the stay: there is nothing to see in Flores itself, you have to use this town as a base to explore the temples in the area, for which you need to join a tour (Tikal can be reach by public transport, but the tour has a fair price). This hostel offers guided tours to Tikal and Yaxha, but not to Uaxactun (don’t go to the sunrise Tikal tour: it’s super tiring and at dawn with the fog and low light you will not take good pics and will not enjoy the place; also, don’t go to sunset Yaxha tour: at dusk temples are in the shadow and it is nice to go also to Topoxte which can be added only to the morning tour).

“Amazing staff!”

I love this hotel/ hostel a lot! It is on Flores island close to everything,restaurants,bar,grocery store. The staff were the most accommodating and friendly. I have experience in all the hostels in guatemala and mexico. I would say top 5 in about 20 hostels for the customer service of the staff. They always answered all my questions , They accommodated me like rarely a hostel would do! Seriously amazing 👏! ( so sorry, I can't remember her name, but she works at the reception she talks good english! She deserves to be an employee of the month!!!🥇) she went above and beyond to help with any situation i had on my trip! Also, the rooms are super clean, I love the rooms (I was in a dorm) and had a bathroom in the dorm. The kitchen is basic but has everything you need to cook! I highly recommend that hotel/hostel 👌 ✨️🤍

Joel is super helpful and kind. He works the front desk and always gave us good advice. There is strong wifi and a space upstairs with table and chairs.

Perfect location of the hotel - the bus station is right in front of the hotel. The tour operator (tickets to Flores, El mirador...) is also right in the hotel. There is a supermarket and an ATM right next door. If you take a cab driver called "Napolion", please give him my regards from Flo and Christian in Vienna and give him a cigarette ;)

First hotel when you reach the island by bus, so short way. The mattress was pretty comfortable and not so hard like in most other places I've stayed
