“Tranquil location, great for swimming”

Loved the quiet location across the lake where we could swim and paddle board. It was so easy to get back and forth to the island too.

The location is stunning: On the lake with places to chill, swim and watch the sunset. The staff are lovely and the free boat service into Flores (5 mins) was invaluable. The food is good, if a little pricey. The rooms are very basic: clean, but basic ( think field study centre). You're staying here because you don't want to stay in Flores which is fabulous, but noisy, and you don't want to spend a fortune.

“Lakeside sunset dream cabin”

This was an amazing find.. a chilled lakeside cabin on the water just over the way from Flores Island - the owners were very sweet and friendly and would come and pick you up via a quick boat ride by a text (a small 50Q fee if super early or late which we needed for an early bus ride one morning). Hot water and food available. Amazing sunset

Peaceful place, nice views over the lake. Easy transport to and from Flores. Nice cabins with hot shower. Food is delicious in the restaurant.

Excellent boat service all day and night between the hotel and flores island. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was tasty.

The location on the island is remote and very calm

Very relaxing location right next to the water, the boat shuttle to the island was very convenient and the waiting time was never more than 5/10 min. Room was very clean and comfortable, with mosquito net in the window and big bathroom. Very good breakfasts that you can order in their restaurant.

The hotel is located close to the lake with an amazing view of the Flores island. Its location is the greatest asset of the place. The room was ok, the food as well. Nothing special.

“Very bad experience, we left the hotel even though we had paid the room”

The hotel is accessible only with boat. The hotel is offering a boat transfer (5 minutes), which is far too expensive (150QTZ per room) while other hotels in this area charge 10QTZ per transfer. This means if you want to leave the hotel and return, you have to Pay a lot. We addressed this to the hotel, as it was not mentioned in booking.com and we were not informed before arrival. The hotel, unfortunately, did nothing to solve the problem. We asked the hotel if they can tell us if there is another way to get a transfer to Flores, but the hotel did not help us, they said, they are not obligated to tell us how we can be transferred. So in the end the only option was the transfer offered by the hotel which was far too expensive. This is why we left the hotel and booked another one in Flores, much cheaper and you can get in and out of the hotel without paying. Furthermore, in the rooms were cockroaches, in the bathroom and on the bed. Take care before booking this one, the hotel staff is not honest and not at all helpful, just want the money.

Decent location, a bit off the path and you will need the boat to transfer. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The cabin is also great
