Easy check in with 24hr front desk. Restaurant was reasonably priced and provided good food.

- Good Dorms, AC and cozy mattresses - Good food - Nice chilling area - best location on the island - the food is really good and the portions fair - was in dorm 1 - could not hear the party music or the leaving / incoming guests. Also in the morning for the tours the hostel was really quiet - Safe door policy - Lockers - public showers and toilets are clean all the time

“Social place”

Beds are very comfy, restaurant is nice and they can arrange everything for you.

Dorms were nice with AC and a bathroom. Free pool. A communal kitchen.

“Fantastic stay”

This hostel was great, one of the best I've ever stayed i -we had a private room with AC and private bathroom. We were worried that it would be too much of a party hostel but our room was quiet and the common areas were very chilled. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there were tuns of events if you wanted to meet people from even morning yoga classes. The food in the restaurant was also super convenient and huge portions - the staff even made a super simple dish for me when I was recovering from food poisoning.

“Beware of bedbugs!!”

When we arrived we were greeted and shown to our beds. We were also told, that there is a 10% commission fee on the stay if we wanted to pay with card, a little steep if you ask us. They have an inhouse tour company, that can help you book a Tikal tour. But the guy at the desk seems almost annoyed that you want to book there and you feel like a nuisance wanting to pay them money to go see Tikal. When we went to bed early, as we had to be up @2:30am my partner discovered her bed was damp. As the reception hours were late and we had to get up early we decided to mention it the next day. When mentioning it a change of sheets was offered, but no further compensation was offered for having to sleep in damp sheets. The manager was borderline hostel and immediately shut down the conversation with the argument ‘well you used the bed’ as well as ‘you are welcome to leave if you have another place booked’. Clearly this hostel has no trouble making money and therefore have little interest in making it a good experience for the people staying there. If you want to be up past 10pm you are told/forced to go to their ‘night club’ as there is quiet hours. We definitely respect quiet hours, but the fact that there is no place to sit and have a quiet talk past 10pm is a bit whack. Finally the rooms are dark, they smell moist and wierd and there is little to no outlets in the rooms. All in all we wouldn’t recommend. Also there is bedbugs in room 2, and the people living there had to move hostels. Despite it being a well known fact (there is comments about it dating quite a while back)

Very cosy area to relax and grab a bite /drink. Also great with booking activities there and in general very good vibe.

Very nice hostel with excellent facilities. The staff and bar team were friendly, and we were able to check in early. The location is great.

Very good location (Flores is tiny so any location is good), the restaurant has amazing food (for all meals of the day). Very good travel agency in house to help with excursions such as Tikal.
