“Amazing - we will definitely be returning here”

We stayed at Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel in April and can honestly say it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed. The room was exceptional, with beautiful attention to detail and lovely toiletries that made it feel extra special. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The complimentary monkey tour on the hotel’s boat was an unforgettable experience and the perfect finishing touch to an amazing stay. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return one day.

Lovely hotel with bungalow type rooms overlooking the Laguna. The food is great and service excellent. The monkey boat tour was great fun with a monkey climbing aboard!

We loved our stay here- the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and the service second to none. The staff all called us by name throughout our stay which I’ve never experienced before. The inclusive free nature tour on the lake was a lovely extra we weren’t expecting.

“Fabulous in every way.”

Our second visit and still wonderful. The setting in the jungle on a lake is beautul. Staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. The food is really good - quality ingredients, well presented without being fussy. A white heron regularly visited us - the photo is our room view. Perfect location for visiting Tikal. We also went to Uaxactun, which was a bit of an adventure with an excellent driver/guide sourced by the hotel. Las Lagunas is so good, it spoils us for anywhere else!

Everything. Staff, service, facilities, but specially the room with our private jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful lagoon and fresh coffee in the morning. Also, the complimentary boat tour to the monkey island every morning was a plus!

The staff are the biggest asset to this hotel. Effortlessly welcoming, helpful and attentive. Can't do enough for you but in a relaxed manner. The hotel has the most beautiful natural setting which is so very unique and relaxing. We loved the museum and taking a bike and kayak around the grounds. The pool is beautiful and often empty. Proximity to Tikal and Yaxha in addition to the airport is a bonus. The food was great if not a little limited if you have any restrictions.. see below.

“Perfect”

A charming hotel in nature, endless green spaces, the rooms are large and sit on the water. The service is excellent. I would especially like to mention the waiter Elmel, who gave us excellent personal service.

Beautiful setting on undeveloped lake surrounded by jungle. Super comfortable cabins with amazing verandah with hot tub and private view of lake. Great bathroom with huge shower. Complimentary water and coffee in room. Comfortable loungers around infinity pool. Lovely bar and restaurant area. Good choice of traditional and international food available most of the day. Complimentary Kayaks and bicycles and boat trip to Monkey Island.

“Love love love it!”

This is a truly exceptional place. It sets a standard for others to follow. We were there to visit Tikal and so glad we had booked for 3 nights. The rooms are huge and like being on a boat, without the seasickness, as all you can see is water. Each evening we sat in the jacuzzi watching the birds flying over the lake. Just blissful. The restaurant is excellent, both in terms of food and service - thank you to all the staff. Reception staff are all brilliant, instantly responding to any request. The museum is stunning, it has superb artefacts, beautifully displayed. We loved the boat trip. The airport pick-up/return and driver to Tikal were arranged by the hotel and were excellent.
