We had a top floor room with a large communal balcony overlooking the road and lake. We could not fault it for the price. The staff were also friendly and we were able to book our minibus tickets to Tikal from here. Tikal is a must do day out.

Very affordable for Flores, great location on sunset side of the island, close to everything, mini market next door. We requested a room with balcony and received one which was great. Really friendly staff and always somebody around. Flores is ridiculously hot (40°+) but the ceiling fan worked well and it was tolerable. We had a twin room but two separate beds was actually a good thing because of the heat. Shower had warm water. The hallway on our floor had a microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge for communal use, and filtered water for refills which we appreciated.

The location was good, the staff very responsive, the beds surprisingly comfortable, there was hot water in the bathroom. The room had air conditioning, but I only used the fan and it was perfectly sufficient.

the lady at the reception was very sweet and we managed to book our trip to Tikal, even when we had a little bit of misunderstanding because of the language barrier, she called the agency and rebooked our trip with no problem overall I would say it was clean but the facilities were old there is a barrel with free water available in the kitchen
