“Fun glamping experience with lovely host”

The tent we stayed in was absolutely fantastic. Spacious, decorated with care and cosy lighting. The robes were nice and fluffy and the bed comfy. The outside shower was nice and warm. The outside kitchen was well stocked. We adored the hot tub amidst the lush plants outside. Fabulous and fun vibe. The host took hid inspiration from Jurassic Park, which made me laugh and I must say I think he did well. At one point I was walking along the road to Proyecto Asis (which I highly recommend visiting especially the sloth tour). It is not far, but a bit of a hair raising hike. I got a text from the owner that his father (who lives nearby) had seen me walking along the road…was I okay?! Haha, yes fine. Lovely family. I felt looked out for actually.

This is an incredible glamping opportunity, we have never stayed anywhere quite like it! It was magical and a real experience you will never forget. The fridge was stuffed full of treats, and the entirety of the grounds were beautiful and very romantic. We could not believe we had the whole place to yourselves! The hot tub was great and we really loved the Alexa and fancy bedding. Everything had been thought of and we were lucky to stay a little later to enjoy the place. The photos do not do this place justice!

The place is very cool and pretty. The space in and around the dome was huge, and the whole place has a very 'in the jungle' vibe. Privacy in the majority of the space was great, which is always helpful when the shower is outside! It was a little hard to find on arrival, but once found the location was great - it was nice and secluded and away from any main road noise.

The accommodation is really great! Furnished with an eye for details and generally very cozy and clean. Also modern! You open the door to the tent with a touchpad. Lights indoor and outdoor are managed with another touchpad. You even have an air dehumidifier in the tent, which removes the moisture from the air. This is very helpful because it is really difficult to get towels and clothes dry in the rainforest with such a high humidity. AC and fan are also available. The bed is super comfortable! We were also very happy about the small surprises like wine, chocolate and a few purchases for breakfast! The owner and his wife even surprised us with a traditional homemade breakfast. The Jacuzzi with hot water was a great place to endure the rain shower. The owner also answers messages very fast and we could check in 4h before the regular check in time - great service! Overall, one of the best accommodations we've been to so far!

Momotus Glamping is a very special place to stay. You book this „orbit" in the forest. With a lot of creativity and time, the owner Mario has created a small oasis with a luxury room with a lot of comfort and many small details: a beautiful luxury room with a large and comfortable bed, the surprisingly perfect shower, the little surprises in the fridge and in the room, the lighting system, parking lot, Wifi...everything there. If you are looking for some peace and relaxation and want to be alone, this is the right place. We liked the passion and the heart blood of Mario. Thanks to his daughter for the really cool introduction (they leave after the introduction and you are of your own - there is a second room, but quite far away and you are really of your own). Mario is always online for backing you up.

“A real gem. Must do for the complete Arenal experience”

Firstly, simply the most incredible hosts ever. Our booking was a mistake, the place was not supposed to be online yet. The host replied immediately with the sad news but as we were driving we didn't check for messages. We only read it when we were already there, it was night and we had no plan B. Juan accepted us, prepared everything the best he could in the shortest amount of time. Honestly we could not find anything missing, but I suppose he knows better. You sleep in a huge tent (it's in the name, glamping, of course). So all night we enjoyed the sound of the nature. The cicadas, the rain, howler monkeys, who know what birds and frogs and who knows what other mysterious sounds. For each tent there is a fridge, table and chairs, lounge area with jacuzzi, shower, all you need. The tent has air conditioning and fan and music if you want. In the garden we 'found' coffee plants, beautiful flowers, even a poisonous blue-jeans frog! Juan gave us useful tips for what to do in the area, even offered us a map. Of course we followed his advice and do not regret it a bit. Huge thanks! One advice: use insect repellent. It's needed.
