Beautiful stay in a charming historic building right in the heart of Florence. The vintage-style room was lovely and full of character, which made the experience feel very authentic and special. The owner was exceptionally attentive, kind, and always ready to help. Also, a special bonus was getting to meet the owner’s dog at the reception one day - super cute and very friendly :)

Room size was fair, the location was quiet, there are free tea/coffee and water which is a great bonus. The owner was very helpful and polite. Excellent location, the property was 10 mins from the train station and 15 minutes from the Florence Cathedral and 7 minutes to Florence Central Market. Plenty of bars and restaurants around and few mini markets. We did everything by foot. Being close to the train station was helpful as we visited other cities in Tuscany.

The hotel is situated very close to the tram stop at San Marco which connects directly with the airport. You can walk to the Duomo in less than 15 minutes, depending on how fast you walk. The proprietor is a nice friendly man.

This mini-hotel is located in an old 4-story building, which is within walking distance of the city's most important attractions: 10 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes to the central market, etc. The owner is a very hospitable person who goes out of his way to accommodate his guests. He has two wonderful dogs who ride in a small dog elevator. He waited for us until 8:00 PM while we were driving through traffic from Bologna to Florence. When he found out that it was my birthday tomorrow, he gave me a bottle of prosecco. It was a very touching gesture of concern on his part. I am very grateful to him for this. The hotel has a coffee machine for a small fee, very clean linens, a comfortable mattress, and a warm, homey atmosphere.

The host was just lovely and sweet. The place felt very welcoming and warm. And he made us feel like at home and very comfortable. The location is amazing and the place itself is spacious, clean and huge.

The Staff were very lovely and helpful the whole time we were there. The location was also very convenient, close to the old town and close to the train station. The interior and the room look comfy and you’ll feel at home in this hotel. We very much enjoyed the tea corner.

The owner is incredibly warm, and the reception area is cozy and beautifully decorated. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate. Plus, the two greedy Labrador retrievers are absolutely adorable! If I have the chance to visit Florence again, I would definitely book here again.

“Perfect characterful hotel from which to explore Florence.”

The owner of the hotel was kind and courteous and went out of his way to help us with problems which were ours and not related to the hotel. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building with original features and furnishings, and lovely rooms.

Owner was very friendly and welcoming, he provided us access to the roof which had phenomenal views of Firenze, absolutely beautiful. Location was perfect, it was close to everything. Room was very clean. Highly recommend it!

The location is great — just about 10 minutes from the main attractions, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing. The apartment was reasonably clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
