An excellent place in Florence! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, she even assisted us with arranging a taxi. She offers complimentary coffee, tea, and water, plus fresh croissants and jam. For New Year’s, she decorated the place with balloons and surprised us with champagne bottles as a gift. Such a thoughtful and generous host. Highly recommended!

So comfortable, clean, well maintained and fantastic location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms and bed and linen is 5 stars. There was a coffee pantry where we could get good coffee and croissants on the house.

“We absolutely recommend the San Guiliano Inn to anyone, and would stay again.”

The San Guiliano Inn is a private hotel on the top floor of a building near the historic centre of Florence. It is probably 10 minutes walk to the Duomo. We arrived after usual business hours and staff stayed back to accommodate our arrival. Communications prior to our arrival was very thorough. Staff were very friendly and provided maps and advice about public transport. We even got to meet the owner who is lovely. The building has massive front doors and a very small lift to the top floor (1 person with luggage or two people without luggage maximum). The rooms are beautifully decorated and were very clean. The bathrooms are beautiful and included a heated towel rail. There was a large wardrobe with a fridge and plenty of storage and hangers. Our room had a view of the Duomo just like the picture on Booking - amazing! There is a common sitting room which is also beautifully decorated and a common kitchen which with a fridge stacked with water (naturale and frizzante) and some beer and soft drinks. Tea and Nespresso coffee is also available as are some light snacks. Pastries (croissants) were available for breakfast and if you are a big breakfast person would suggest you will need to eat elsewhere as well. The Hotel is located within walking distance of a major bus terminal which we used to get up to Michaelangelo's steps ( about a 45 min bus ride away depending on how on time they are - expect then to be late). Many cafes and restaurants close by including where we had an amazing Bistecca, and where we were able to get "self-service' food which was really good and reasonably priced.

We enjoyed our stay and had a beautiful room with views of the Duomo. The location is perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast and drinks were a bonus and truly appreciated. I would definitely recommend.

The best room we had in the whole trip to Italy! The kitchenette with free water and juices was a nice perk. Good pricing too!

We loved everything, the small boutique hotel was perfect, the host, the comp breaky with croissants and hot coffee every morning, our room overlooking the Duomo, the position, the quaint little lift, everything was an easy walk to all the major sightseeing attractions and lots of fabulous restaurants. “Lovely stay, great location, a few internal noise issues.”

Wonderful location with great soundproofing that kept most of the outside noise out. Very attentive staff. Nice to have a kitchenette area with a fridge stocked with water and small bottles of beer and wine. The breakfast was very light but welcome with a good coffee machine available all the time.

“An exceptional apartment in a great central location close to the Florence attractions”

The location was excellent. The apartment is one of 6 on the 4th floor accessed by a lift. The beds were very comfortable and there was a nice communal lounge. The owner and staff were very friendly & helpful. A member of staff was available in the shared kitchen to make coffee for us which we enjoyed with the complimentary croissants. The fridge in the kitchen also had complimentary water, juice & wine. When we were leaving the same male member of staff took our cases down for us and the owner ordered a taxi to take us to the station. They couldn't have been more helpful.

“Good Location, Friendly Staff”

The hotel was in a good location within walking distance of the train station. The small lift up to the hotel was a little tricky to use when you have a large suitcase (as the doors kept closing on us when trying to get out) but once there the hotel staff were friendly and the room was perfect for one night. The only downside is the lack of coffee making facilities within the room, however there was a shared lounge and kitchen and the drinks in there were complimentary (as was a croissant for breakfast in the morning).

“High-quality accommodation with a spirit of hospitality”

I love traveling and have stayed in countless places, but this is a warm-hearted inn. A variety of drinks and yogurt were available in the common area, and a simple breakfast was also provided. There were even tissues, toothbrushes, and notepads. There is no other inn in Italy that offers such attentive service at this price range. The room was clean and had a view of the cupola. The staff member DEXTER is hardworking and kind. The female owner is also reliable and warm, and is protecting this wonderful inn. If I come to Florence, I will definitely stay here!

“Fabulous stay, excellent location”

The property was near the SM Novelle station, abt 15 mins walk. Although it is on the 4th floor, it has a lift. The young lady received us at the lift and brought us to the hotel. She slso gave very good recommendations when we asked abt local tour and restaurants nearby. Dexter was another staff who was very helpful. He helped to bring our luggage to our room. The room is very clean and spacious. The hotel has a common room (like a living room). The best part of the hotel is it offers Nespresso coffee that we can make ourselves. The fridge was well stocked with sparkling water, still water and even yoghurt. Complimentary croissants were also provided in the morning, although breakfast was not included in the stay. It was very good for tourists like us who needed to run out to join the local tours. We had a fabulous stay in San Giuliano Inn.

The location was perfect. Walking distance for all of the sights. The hotel was beautifully appointed with lovely decor and quiet. There was free coffee, tea, croissants and a few alcoholic drinks with a lovely lounge to enjoy them in. The room was big enough for two travellers with adequate wardrobe space and a safe and mini fridge. The bathroom had a roomy shower with great water pressure and a great heated towel rail. The staff were very friendly. I was super happy with the hotel and would definitely stay again.
