It’s beautiful. Gorgeous garden, lovely pool (if a little chilly in May). Beautiful breakfast on a lovely terrace. Spacious bedroom. It’s a little walk up the hill, but the road is quiet and pretty so was a pleasure.

This was our third stay at the Park Palace. We stayed for five days and the management kindly booked me into a beautiful quiet room with a view. The breakfast, as always, offered excellent choices that we ate on the verandah. This is also where we took an evening drink and charcuterie board when we were too tired to go out to dinner. The staff are warmly attentive in every way. And it was a delight to walk back up quiet Via di San Leonardo to the treed garden, a friendly welcome, and a cool swim in the pool.

It was in a lovely area just outside the city but in easy walking distance. Very peaceful.

“Perfect tranquil oasis in a bustling city”

This hotel was such a shady, tranquil oasis away from the madness of central Florence. It’s very well served by buses though so you can get down into town pretty quickly. We had the most beautiful view from our room right out over the Tuscan hills (room was Fiesole). The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely superb. There are two superb restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel. They are called Chalet Fontana and La Terrazza Del Principe and both have beautiful Tuscan views and do wonderful food.

Faded glory hotel , lovely pool and outside terrace, comfortable bed , good breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful, chilled quite retreat away from the tourist traps of Florence.

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful setting. Lovely to get back to relax around the pool after walking many steps around the city centre. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even presented me with a slice of cake with a birthday candle at breakfast upon finding out it was my birthday. Quality breakfast which we enjoyed out on the terrace overlooking the gardens and the pool. Lovely lounge area to relax with a drink in the evening. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance to go back to Florence!

“A beautiful, characterful hotel with lovely grounds, but the hillside location wasn’t ideal for us”

I loved the character of the main building. It’s full of character. We stayed in a room that was not within the main hotel. Extremely clean. And the garden and pool area kept beautifully.

“A fabulous hotel and location”

The property is utterly beautiful - We couldn’t believe how delightful it was - the bedroom and decor throughout is beautiful and the garden with the swimming pool, utterly stunning. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful and you can take it on the veranda overlooking the pool which was a real luxury. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. The walk from the hotel to the centre of Florence takes only 20 - 25 mins and is spectacular, giving you a feel that you are further away in the countryside of Tuscany , and you pass by some stunning properties and mansion houses.

Breakfast was superb. Pretty location outside city but on major bus route to Florence and Piazza Michaelangelo. Bus stop in front the hotel. Views from Piazza Michaelangelo were stunning and good facilities there. We walked down the hill to the Piazza which was a lovely walk past Forte Belvedere. All staff were friendly and attentive.
