Overview
Set in an elegant 15th-century building, Loggiato dei Serviti is 150 metres from the Accademia Gallery and 5 minutes' walk from Florence Cathedral. The hotel offers unique rooms with antique furniture. Loggiato dei Serviti overlooks one of Florence's most beautiful squares, Piazza Santissima Annunziata. It is opposite Brunelleschi's Ospedale degli Innocenti, a former orphanage and impressive Renaissance-style building. Rooms feature luxury fabrics and dark-wood furniture. All air-conditioned, they also come with a minibar, satellite TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. Some have four-poster beds or city views. Guest will have a continental breakfast served in the hotel in our breakfast room. Guests have free WiFi access throughout. You will also find a 24-hour reception offering luggage storage and tourist information.

“Rooms and location a delight, some members of the hotel staff less welcoming than others…”
The rooms were really beautiful, the bed was comfortable and we had a lot of privacy in the annexe. The guy who helped take our bags to the room was really lovely and helped organise an ironing board and iron.

“Bring your earplugs - but otherwise a great stay”
The beds were really comfortable, the rooms were spacious and historic with shutters and grand beds (thankfully with new mattresses!) Location is a short walk from the tram to the airport and a short walk to the centre of the town so no car required. Ceilings were high and rooms were airy.

“Great location, but poor room, breakfast and facilities left us disappointed.”
The location was undoubtedly the highlight — just a 17-minute walk from the main train station and only 7 minutes from the stunning Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, with Michelangelo's David literally around the corner. For sightseeing, you really couldn't ask for better.

Our firstly-assigned room was noisy. We got offered another room with an upgrade. The location is great. At walkable distance from the limit of ZTL and very close to the Duomo. The historical building where the hotel is located is impressive.

“A very nice stay in an old building of character”
We liked the location and the spacious room with its balcony overlooking the square. It is close to the centre and near to plenty of restaurants. We appreciated that it was less busy than the area around the dome. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful.

Hotel is beautiful, in amazing location, both in terms of the history of the square but also in terms of how easy it was to get to everything else in the city in walking distance -the Duomo is in view from the Hotel square. Breakfast was a buffet of everything you could possibly want -eggs, bacon, cereals, croissants, etc.

“I have stayed at this hotel for the last 30 years on my trips to Florence, and love it ..”
excellent .I stayed twice at Loggiato dei Serviti on this trip to Italy. The first room (at the weekend) had a very very small bathroom. The second stay (mid week) i had a larger room and very spacious bathroom with bath and shower, and it was much cheaper then the first room. Breakfast was excellent.the rooms were very clean and beautiful linen.

“Character, location, hospitality, views, history, style. This hotel has all the things we prize most”
Wonderful location - a stone's throw from Duomo and in a sublimely beautiful historic square with the loggias of Brunelleschi's Foundling Hospital echoed by the architecture of the hotel itself. Staying in the hotel is like stepping back in time in the very best way. A totally unique experience. Antique furniture. Spacious rooms. Our room had a stunning view of Duomo. Friendly welcoming helpful staff. Comfortable bed.
