Villa Betania is a small, family-managed hotel set in a green park, only 20 minutes' walk from the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence. The area has great bus links. All rooms feature elegant parquet floors, air conditioning, and a satellite TV. Some rooms have stone walls and a terrace. Hotel Villa Betania has a new bar, and a terrace, where you can taste a selection of local wines. There is a smoking area on the terrace. The hotel is set away from the traffic and noises of city centre, and within easy reach of Siena, San Gimignano, and the Chianti wine road.

“Great stay and starting point for exploring Florence”
Big room, clean. Easy auto-checking with the instructions on how to enter the facility. Breakfast was plenty but also more on the modest side of selection. You won't go hungry, though. :) We ate inside because it was a bit fresh to be outside and dine but that is a possibility, too as described by others. Parking is on the premises, safe and available on the checkout day until 18.00 so you can explore the city and then come back and move on to the next spot. Bus station is 5 minutes away so off you go and explore Florence. Enjoy!

“Lovely stay in Florence”
Excellent location for exploring Florence, only a 25 minute walk to the city centre. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and peaceful. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The breakfast was average. The hotel is located in a very nice part of town with lots of greenery. However, it is a bit far from the city center. The friendly receptionist gave us a map of the city and explained that bus no. 11 runs to the center and back, just not on the same route.

True oasis of peace! Nestled in a prestigious garden setting, Bella Betania feels like staying at the estate of a close aristocratic friend. It offers perfect tranquility with morning birdsong, yet it is just minutes from Piazzale Michelangelo and a quick bus ride to the city center. Free parking, exceptionally clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a delicious breakfast make this place a real gem. We are so grateful for the wonderful hospitality and will definitely return!

The location is perfect for those who come with their own transport, you avoid the stress of parking in the city, and use well-organized public transport or taxis. The room and bed are excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

“Enjoyable time, lovely staff, shame about the lack of evening meal options at hotel or nearby.”
Breakfast; everything you would expect from a buffet. Room; beautiful view, spacious, natural light and ventilation. Location; beautiful building in nice grounds outside of city centre, however the location can work to your disadvantage as the bus is every 20-40 minutes, walking is tiring as it is up the hill, and there are no restaurants nearby which makes eating in the evening a pain.
