staff very kind and helpful. let us leave our bags after we checked out and were good at english so no problems. had lots of extra pillows and duvet. also perfect location! also had netflix, prime and youtube on the tv so very good for relaxing

The staff was VERY hospitable, very friendly and willing to help. There is an adorable teracce for guests. Very affordable for what it offers. Would reccomend!

The convenience to locations, supermarkets, and sightseeing were all nearby. There is no need for a taxi or bus for accessing the city center.

“Hotel Meridiana: Thank you. Next 😒”
Probably Florence has become a place for rich tourists. This place was one of the cheapest. 100€ per night, to stay in a room without heating ( even though they accommodated our request for a room change for this reason) is not value for money ( They put 2 extra duvets in the wardrobe, to compensate on the lack of heating, that obviously takes a lot of money to be fixed). The heating is below average also in common areas, not just in the rooms. We wanted to have a soft light in the room and decided to turn on a beautifully looking lamp by the TV, only to realise that if you would turn off the other lights, this lamp would turn off too 😂. So, we didn't bother anymore. Also, you need to lock your door with the key, otherwise just anyone can come inside,as there's a handle at the outside part of the door, for an easier access to the room 😁. The hotel needs severe refurbishment. 50€ would be a decent price to ask. Not 100€!... I'm writing this review, just to help you not to waste your money on this one!

The location was very good, easily accessible by tram from the main station and within walking distance of the main tourist attractions. The staff were amazing. We arrived quite early just to leave our luggage, as they had suggested using the storage, but when we arrived they told us the room was already ready and allowed us to check in. This was quite exceptional and unlike many other places.

“very good”
The location was not far from historical area and good distance for walking exercise. There was bath-tab there, which made us very happy. The staffs were very kind to us. Particularly cost performance was very very good for us too.
