“Lovely small hotel with some really nice touches”

Great hotel in a quiet part of the city, on the opposite side of the river to the old town but an easy 20min walk to its centre. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Happy Hour was very generous and a lovely way to begin the evening. Breakfast nice but room is quiet small so need to pick you time carefully. Staff lovely and friendly, made us very welcome

“Lovely Hotel and staff”

The location was fantastic only 15-25min walk to the centre of town, the hotel put on free drinks and food in the evenings, breakfast was great, it was mostly all fantastic.

A beautiful property, stunning rooms, great breakfast, really friendly staff. A pleasant walk along the river edge to the Ponte Vecchio. I push my wife in a wheelchair. The paths are much better for a wheelchair this side of the Ponte Vecchio.

Hotel David is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location. It is only a twenty minute walk into the town centre. The staff were very pleasant and in particular Alexandra , the receptionist was very helpful. Jay from the breakfast lounge was also very attentive and hardworking, The bedroom was clean and tidy. The shower was excellent with very good quality products available. There was a free happy hour that the majority of guests enjoyed. The wine was good quantity

“Beautiful, approachable and a lovely place to stay.”

The staff at the property were really helpful and approachable. The hotel itself was placed in a beautiful part of Florence with lovely views and easy access. We booked the superior room which was well worth it, we wished we were staying longer but do plan to return at a later date.

“Exceptional Hotel which will not disappoint”

Location was perfect. As keen walkers, we tend to favour staying outside of the tourist areas and this hotel covered it all. Prior to arriving in Florence, I had been exchanging messages with Caterina, as I was organising some surprises for my husbands ‘big’ birthday whilst we were there. Caterina was an absolute marvel, went over and above to help me, nothing was too much trouble. We were even presented with a bottle of bubbles on the day of my husbands birthday, a really kind gesture. On arriving at the hotel, and for the duration of our stay (which was not long enough) we were met with kindness and efficiency and provided with lots of information on local points of interest etc. Breakfast was plentiful and you also had the choice of eating inside or outside in the terrace in the beautiful Tuscan sunshine. An absolute must is to attend the “Happy Hour” each evening from 6.30 onwards where you can enjoy wines and soft drink with the addition of canapés, which is a perfect start to your evening meal plans. Overall, I cannot say enough about this hotel abd would certainly highly recommend to friends and family and we are definitely coming back ❤️❤️

Everything was very nice! We stayed in the superior room with terrace. It was fabulous. The atmosphere in the hotel was warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fulfilling.

A wonderful little hotel with friendly staff. The size of the room really surprised us. A bonus was the large terrace with a view of the cathedral. The bed was big and very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and there was free parking inside the hotel. There was also a complimentary drink and happy hour. We were extremely pleasantly surprised. I honestly can’t think of a single negative thing. 😊

Hotel David truly deserves an 11/10! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the historic center while still being very easy to reach by car. The free, secure on-site parking is a real bonus, and the room was extremely quiet, overlooking the hotel’s inner gardens. Breakfast is excellent and very generous. A huge thank you to Marcella, who is incredibly efficient and exceptionally kind. All the staff are friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The many complimentary services offered by the hotel make the stay even more enjoyable. An outstanding place that I would recommend without hesitation!

A great hotel we'll definitely return to! It's very conveniently located, has comfortable rooms, and offers excellent breakfasts. Everything is designed for maximum comfort, including a veranda with tables where you can enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. And the on-site parking is a huge plus for us!
