Overview
Set on a panoramic hill 7 km from the historic centre of Florence, Fattoria Il Milione offers self-catering studios and apartments with air conditioning and free WiFi. Surrounded by a 50-hectare park, the property also includes a pool and a restaurant. Apartments and studios at the Il Milione are located all around the main building or inside the park, all with independent entrance and private parking. Osteria Il Milione restaurant serves Tuscan specialities and boasts a terrace overlooking Florence Cathedral. “Great to be above Florence and looking down at the Duomo as evening fell.”
We were in a small apartment adjoining the main building, It was lovely to sit outside at the end of a tiring day being a tourist, and hear nothing but birdsong.

The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and so was the accommodation. We were upgraded without asking or paying for it. The breakfast was plentiful.

“Stunning views and a traditional feel”
The location is beautiful, with fabulous views over Florence from the quiet and serene countryside. The whole place is full of character and makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time. Rooms are quirky, warm and clean. The restaurant did delicious locally sourced food and was reasonably priced. Breakfast was a standard continental spread which was suffice for us. We had a car but also walked into Florence one day which took about an hour and 20 mins and was a scenic walk along the small roads.

Fabulous location. Our room was large and decked out like old castle. With views overlooking Florence. Great staff, fabulous restaurant nearby and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended. We even cooked on a 'renaissance' BBQ in the courtyard.
