Wonderful B&B, friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast. It takes about 30 minutes by bus / 15 minutes by taxi to get to the B&B from Firenze center, which is not a bad thing - waking up with birds singing is pretty nice too - depending on the purpose of your visit.

This is one of my favourite places I have stayed at! The room was decorated nicely and was spacious. It was great to be able to relax in the pool and garden. Our hosts were fabulous and attentive, the selection at breakfast was great and we had a delicious lunch as well! We were given a long list of recommendations for restaurants, all those that we visited were fantastic! Thank you for a lovely stay.

The property was even better than the pictures! Luca and Mario were super friendly and helpful with information. I would definitely return to stay here. The location is not too far from the centre and we made use of the Movi bikes to travel back & forth.

“A beautiful calm oasis away from the city centre”

We spent 10 wonderful days at this hotel, a beautiful oasis of peace after a day in the very busy city. Right from our arrival they couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The grounds are wonderful and the pool is a lovely secluded, quiet place to relax. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, with a menu to order what you wanted each night for the next day. Though it’s not in the centre of Florence, it has easy access to 2 bus routes into the city (approx 30 mins ride) and tickets are cheap for this.

I’ve traveled a lot but I had never encountered such a level of attention to detail and kindness. Not only the venue is beautiful and perfectly looked after but Luca and Mario made me felt so welcome and at home that it made my stay a truly wonderful experience. They catered my every need and even anticipated them. I am beyond grateful for those three fantastic days spent at Duchess and I will most certainly be back and advertise this place.

This hotel is wonderful, a little paradise. From the outside it looks small and simple, but inside it's amazing. Beautiful and stylish environment. Very nice personal. They gave helpful tips. The breakfast is fresh, I loved a lot cappuccino and homemade fruit cake, and fresh squized orange juice. The hotel is located in the South of Florence, in a green part of the city. There is a beautiful park closed by. Thank you for creating wonderful and warm atmosphere.
