Set on the historic Via Ghibellina in central Florence, La Casa di Morfeo is a 15-minute walk from Piazza della Signoria square and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. This brand-new property offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and hydromassage shower. Rooms at La Casa have been designed using chromotherapy, to increase the well-being of your body and mind. They are all air-conditioned and soundproofed, and feature an LCD TV with satellite channels. A sweet and savoury breakfast is served buffet style in the breakfast room from 07:30 until 09:30. Drinks are served at the bar and luggage storage is available at reception. Santa Maria Novella Train Station is a short bus ride or 20-minute walk away. “A great 4-night stay with breakfast in Florence, in a neat and cozy hotel.”
By Italian standards, the breakfast was very good. Everything was fresh, and you could get an omelet, scrambled eggs, and freshly brewed espresso. Check-in was hassle-free (we checked in during reception hours). The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. The location is great. Right after leaving the hotel, you turn into Via de' Macci and you are right by the Basilica di Santa Croce. A regular grocery store (like Carrefour), a cheap pizzeria, and small restaurants are all close by.

Location is excellent, walking distance to the highlights of Florence. The staff were friendly and the quadruple room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The ceiling art was nice to look at!
