In the heart of Florence's historic centre, Albergo Firenze lies in Piazza Donati just steps off of the main Via del Corso where one can easily reach the Florence Dome, Piazza della Signoria square and the Uffizi. Albergo Firenze is set in a medieval tower house originally occupied by the Donati noble family, where Gemma Donati, Dante Alighieri's wife was born. Hotel Location is great yet lack of A/C in the room was not anticipated and was bothering for my old mum not to speak about the mosquitoes invasion whilst opening the windows to cool down at night Drainage of bathroom was slow and smelly

“A pleasant hotel to stay”

“Comfortable hotel in a great location”
The location was perfect, just a short walk to all the great things to see in Florence. The hotel was really nice, rooms were comfortable and the staff were all extremely friendly. Overall, it’s a very good hotel for a good price. Would definitely recommend.

I was very satisfied with my staying in Albergo Firenze! The staff was very polite, the room was cleaned every day, location is perfect, 15 min walk to the Central Railway station and in the historical part of the city.

Location was amazing very central in the old town of Florence and 5 min walk from the main cathedral. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful with great suggestions for local restaurants. Room was clean and fresh, Breakfast was a good selection of buffet options.

“A lovely place in the shadow of the Duomo!”
Albergo Firenze is in the perfect spot - the nearby Duomo served as a beacon while I was still finding my way around. The room was comfortable and very well appointed, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were so friendly and encouraged my fragmentary Italian. I'll be recommending this hotel!
