Friendly landlord, nice clean room and good breakfast, very straight forward

We stayed for one night on our motorcycle. The host provided us with secure parking for our motorcycle. We thought it was great value for money and we were made to feel welcome. We felt relaxed in the garden with other guests. The host was very friendly and spoke great English. We were would recommend.

We've been staying here for one night traveling from Spain to Italy. Big and comfortable room and home made breakfast. So nice place to stay, and the staff is very supportive and flexible also with last minute requests!

So much character . Don’t be put off by the front view. It’s stunning behind that!! Clean, quiet , room very big , warm and tastefully decorated.

The host was great and really welcome us to the home. We enjoyed only one night and the weather wasnt the best. For sure this place for several nights and in summer is great.

“Large, spacious, well-equipped house in a quiet area and a good location.”

This is a very spacious and extremely well-equipped large house in a street on the outskirts of the small town of Fleury. It’s well located for nearby beaches and the coast, for historic towns such as Carcassonne and Beziers, and for the foothills of the mountains for activities like walking, climbing, and for wild swimming in the Orb, the Aude, and other nearby rivers and beauty spots. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, including an excellent one (L’Ardoise) in neighbouring Salles D’Aude. The house has a number of well-appointed, good-sized, air-conditioned bedrooms – although they’re not in the main, en-suite. There is off-street parking for 2/3 cars and on-street parking right outside for more. There’s excellent WiFi coverage, a large kitchen and inside dining area, and an extensive outdoor area with plentiful seating in several different areas, barbecues, an outdoor kitchen, a covered dining area, a petanque ground, and more. There is a modest sized outdoor swimming pool – Christophe, the owner, was working hard to keep the water clear when we were there. As I understand it, the house is primarily run by Christophe as a B&B, and so he lives there too: worth bearing in mind, if - as we did - you hire the entire house as a holiday rental for a group. This turned out to not be a problem, because Christophe is not only charming, super-helpful, speaks good English, and a fount of useful tips on places to go / eat, he also does a lot of cleaning around the place first thing in the morning, so that guests don’t have to! He’s unobtrusive, good at staying out of the way and giving hirers the run of the place, and is out at work for most of the day. It is, however, a little unusual to find the property owner in residence when hiring a holiday villa, so it’s worth being aware. Overall, it’s a nice property with many advantages.

When we came to place nobody let us in. We were told by phone that the owner is not able to let us in and that we have to look for another place to stay, because he cancels the reservation. It was the evening already and we were with the little kids

Amazing house and incredibly friendly and helpful host. House have nice and clean territory with lots of fun stuff for children. Will come again if will be travelling across that region.

We had a great time in Fleury. Christopher - the owner of the place is very welcoming and nice to chat with. He gave us many useful tips on where to eat (great place about 2,5 km from the apartment!) and what to see around. He really cares about the comfort and satisfaction of all his guests!

We enjoyed our stay very much, the host welcomed us very warmly and showed us around. We stayed in the top most rooms (3d floor). We had one room for adults and one for the children. The Villa had everything, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, an indoor kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, a trampoline, a rooster and lots of general space. And of course Wi-Fi. One of the rooms had AC and we slept very well. The other one only had a fan and it was unfortunately very noisy so we had to turn it off. But we slept well regardless (and I guess the fan is easy to replace anyway 😉) The host recommended a restaurant in Saint-Pierre-La-Mer where we headed for the evening and found lots of restaurants, a carnival, Paris wheel and a giant beach. We had a very pleasant walk on the boardwalk.
