Loved the view and that the house was in a village, but with easy access by car to larger villages, Épernay and Reims.

Loved the quiet, the house, the location and the view

“Fantastic!”

The house is at the outside of the village overlooking the vineyards. It has a garden and a large terrace. Even on hot days (like we had) there is always a place in the shadow to enjoy outside and because of the thick walls and shutters for the windows the house stays cool inside as well (there is also airco, but we didn't need that) . We loved the house! Everything you need is there. Good beds in spacious bedrooms, spacious house, nice bathroom.

We absolutely loved this house and the location. The view from the terrace is stunning and evenings drinking champagne on the terrace were the perfect way to finish each day! We followed the advice from another review which was don't hesitate, book this house! We travel a lot and this is now our number one house and we will definitely return. Florence, our host, took every step to ensure that we had a great holiday and was there to meet us to explain everything about the house and the area. She was great at keeping in contact prior to our trip. The reason this is a 10 out of 10 location is not just because of the setting and the view, but because you are in a great place to get to the things you will want to see. You are 15 minutes from Epernay, it's easy to join a number of suggested driving routes, go west along the D1, North to Reims (a must see city; suggest you drive to the tramway station called Hotel Debré, park and take 10 minute tram ride to the centre) Verdun and the battlefields are one hour 30 away and we were glad we made this trip. Beautiful villages like Hautvillers are nearby. On a practical note there is a big Carrefour supermarket 15 minutes away in Epernay and a big supermarket just outside Reims at Champfleury on a roundabout that leads to the motorway. The kitchen is really well equipped, the whole house is immaculately clean. My son had to work remotely on one day and the WiFi connection was good enough to sustain Teams meetings. The house was cool even on very hot summer days and there is always a cool spot to be found either in the back garden or on a part of the terrace depending on the time of day. The reason you will feel privileged to stay here is because Florence designed this as her home and even if the decor is not how you might decorate your own house, you have an overwhelming sense of the thought that has gone into making this house a beautiful home (even if it is yours for just a few days).

What a beautiful house with fantastic views on the vine yards. Hostes Florence was so nice, we felt at home right the moment we met her outside. Even if you are not interested in Champagne, the location and atmosphere alone will give you goosebumps.

Spacious, well equipped house located in a tranquill village with a beautiful view and a terrace. Perfect place to visit the region. Plenty of great producers in a walking distance. Very nice and helpful host.
