We stayed at Matourne with a large family, and we had a wonderful time. All 12 bedrooms were fully prepared for our arrival. Everything in the house was clean, and the kitchen in particular is very well equipped. The outdoor area is lovely. There are gas BBQs with dining tables under the veranda, and there are various seating areas to sit in the sun or shade. We enjoyed table tennis and pétanque, and the large and deep swimming pool is great! Matourne is beautifully situated, tucked away behind a small village on an estate. Privacy guaranteed! A supermarket and a wonderful bakery are just a few minutes' drive away, where we ordered bread and other treats for our group. The friendly guard also lives on the estate, so we could always text or call him if we had any problems, which was nice! It was in French, though, but he promised to learn English ;-) There was a lot of flexibility regarding our check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. We would recommend everyone stay at Matourne for a while; we made beautiful memories there!
