Christine and Christophe are the perfect hosts. They picked us up from the train station and dropped us into town the next day. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and the accommodation was beautiful.

We stayed for one night at La Quintarde on our way to visit family in Catalonia. The interior of the property has been tastefully renovated retaining the charm of the building. Our hosts Christine and Christophe were very hospitable and for an extra charge offered an evening meal. After a long day in the car this was very welcome. We could not fault the housekeeping as the property and our room was top notch. We would highly recommend La Quintarde as a relaxing enjoyable stay. Many thanks Juliet and Martyn

“Beautiful stay in La Quintarde!”

We stayed in this property one night, on our way to the Provence. We were welcomed by the owners who live onsite. They were very friendly and welcoming. The property has a few rooms, and our names were written on a chalkboard hanging on the door, which was a nice touch. We opted to eat with the owners, and the other guests, which was a pleasant experience. The owner truly has an eye for the little details, for example, we all had wooden napkin holders with our names written on it. The owner made a lovely meal for dinner, and in the morning prepared our breakfast. The property also sells some of the local produce, and the bottle of wine we bought and drank, was lovely. The rooms were spacious, with very nice bathrooms. The rooms also have fans, which was much appreciated in the hot weather.

Beautiful location. So peaceful. The hosts, Christine & Christophe, were superb in every way, and so kind hearted. We had no GPS so we telephoned for extra directions once we reached the village, and Christophe rescued us. Breakfasts were delicious - all homemade delights. Evening meals were full of local fresh products, cooked to a fine restaurant standard. It was really enjoyable to partake of dinner in the company of fellow guests and hosts. We had a most memorable time. Thank you.

There is very little to dislike. Christine and Christophe were excellent, caring hosts, concerned that everything was correct and to our liking. We had asked for an evening meal at the property, as the nearest restaurant was said to be six miles away, and we were not disappointed. Breakfast was equally good, and after a good night's sleep in a comfortable room, we left, heading for Spain and Portugal, saying that this was one of the few properties we have used in our forty years of driving around Europe that we would like to return to. One day we will. . . . . . . .

“Comfortable stop over in renovated home”

Christine and Christophe welcomed us to their wonderful home which has been renovated to a very high standard. Set in large grounds surrounded by countryside so very quiet. Large comfortable bed in good sized room, bathroom spotless with excellent shower. Breakfast included local or home made products and was very tasty. Dinner is available, although we had already eaten. Remember to book in advance. Would recommend
