Absolutely beautiful location in the middle of nowhere and cozy house with all the stuff needed

Everything was great! Very cozy place, comfortable rooms, clean showers, kitchen with everything you need. The iwner is very welcoming, met me personally to show me the room. Beautiful valley surrounded by mountains.

I loved staying so close to nature and the birdlife was amazing. Mano and Estefania were wonderful hosts and so was the owner Stefan. This place is owned by a family and it has been in the family for some generations. It makes the experience more authentic. It's a hostel so you have to share showers etc. but it is still worth the experience to have the view and nature all around. It's also close to Ísafjörður, Flateyri and the beautiful white beach at Holt.

Very kind and welcoming host, the whole family was really nice, place is a bit remote but that's what it makes it unique. Room was very cozy and warm, facilites were clean and kitchen was well equipped. Recommended much!

We absolutely loved the experience we had staying in the large home-like tent with comfortable bed and linen, beautiful view and our own nespresso machine. The countryside is beautiful with streams and mountains all around.

“Camping in the Westfjords”

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We had rather poor weather over night, and he advised us on the forecast for the day and the best and safest route for our next leg of the journey (including nice breaks and places to go for lunch). He was further flexible to book us in for breakfast the next morning. Given the remote location, it is great to have that opportunity. We booked the tents, and it was one of the most comfortable camping experiences. Naturally, no camping trip comes with all the comforts of a hotel room, but with the spacious tent, small coffee maker, heater, real mattress beds, and small touches such as the eye mask to block out the sun, it came pretty close.

We received a lovely welcome when we arrived late in the evening. The location is remarkable and the hostel is cosy and comfortable.

I like the location; mountains and a cosy valley beautifully surround it. The host was friendly and greeted us even though we were late to arrive. The kitchen was fully equipped and was perfect for making meals. The dinning are was spacious too.

The room itself was great, and for check-in I was greeted even after hours which I appreciated. The common areas were all sufficient and clean.

What a fantastic place! A beautiful, secluded location in a valley in the West Fjords of Iceland. I would have loved to stay here longer but could only stay for one night. This house has so much atmosphere! I was told it is over 100 years old. Very friendly staff and had some great conversations with Páll. Well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed.

I was the only one guest in this hostel that day. It was incredible experience, the owner is a very kind person and he told me about the story of the guesthouse, it's a very remote place in the Westfjords, this was my second time in Iceland but my first time in the Westfjords, and I loved my days in the remotest part of Iceland. Hopefully to visit the Westfjords someday again, and if I do it I will back to this accommodation again!

The host was very gracious and everyone was so nice and accommodating, location gorgeous and peaceful, perfect for little hikes. The hostel was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. There were also horses being boarded which was fun !!

The view outside the accommodation is truly unbeatable, surrounded by mountains. It's probably the best hotel of our Iceland trip. The cabin is really cozy and well-equipped.

It is very remote but charming, warm and calm. The perfect spot to breathe and releaxe during our tours through the westfjords. We felt welcome, as if we stayed with friends. I would recommend and we definitely will come back.
