One of the most comfortable beds I ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Combined with very good pillows and blackout curtains, I was sleeping like a baby all night. Big bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. The toilet is separated. Dining hall and a kitchen to prepare the food. Plenty of board games if you like social games. Very nice and respectful host. Very clean and tidy place. Free parking outside the house. Wifi present. What else do you need? Not to mention Flateryi is a very cute and quiet town with breathtaking views.

It was fine for a one night stay on a tour of the northern Fjiords. It was pleasant enough but it did feel like you were staying in someone’s house rather than a dedicated guest house. The rooms were nice and clean.

Our room had a great view over the mountains. There were power outlets and a little shelf right above the bed, so very convenient. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need along with tea and coffee.

Quiet, peaceful yet at the centre of town. The town is picture perfect with the best views ever.

A place with style and a well filled library - much like the village of Flateyri it was super comfortable, interesting and the perfect place to stop. The beds were great and together with a hot bath gave us a fab night's sleep. Well equipped kitchen, sitting room to relax in. Bliss! But above all a friendly host who has really thought about what travellers need. Our best indoors place to stay in Iceland. Thank you!!

Very nice old Icelandic house with a few private bedrooms, shared everything else. Great view! Room was super clean and comfy. Bathrooms/toilet were great too. Loved that there were tons of boardgames!

The property had an amazing unique design inside. It was warm and had a real coziness about it. The house had a wonderful selection of books displayed on creative bookshelf’s around the lounge, everything for everyone. Our room was beautifully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The roomy shower was superb and Stephanie our host was so friendly. We couldn’t ask for more on our 3 day stay.
