Great little town, very nice and clean rooms, we very much appreciated the shared kitchen and the included breakfast was also very good. Host is kind and reactive, and very welcoming. Hope to come again soon!

The hotel is located on the main street of the town, next to historic houses, with beautiful views of the fjord, port, and mountains. Less than a hundred meters away, there is a cozy little restaurant with very good food. The town is small but very atmospheric, and it is worth taking a walk to learn about its history. The story about the runaway cow and its appreciation by the locals is fantastic :) The hotel is very clean. Easy self-check-in and no problems with parking. We didn't feel like getting up for breakfast, but the very kind hostess still offered us coffee before our departure, which was very nice. If we return to the West Fjords, we will definitely come back to this place and recommend it to our friends.

It was a very modern building with a large common area kitchen. Christina was available and set up a wonderful breakfast. It was a very comfortable place to stay. It’s a little out of the way but very peaceful. The well equipped kitchen was a bonus.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Christina was very friendly. I had a problem with a fuel station that deducted 3x the amount. She helped me to source telephone numbers and email addresses and also even phoned from her cell phone to the company. Thank you Christina for going beyond your duties to assist me.

The bedrooms were spacious & clean. Comfortable beds & full-size fridge in each room was very handy. Friendly staff and lots of good tips & advice about local activities & dining options. Communal kitchen was great for meeting other guests and was very well equipped with cooking essentials. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Almost brand new, this guesthouse was really clean and a fresh breath of air comparing to some other places we stayed at in Iceland (which were poor). The kitchen was well equipped, we also had a small kitchenette in the room. The bathroom and room were good size. CLEAN. Not stuffy. Lovely staff. SUPER EASY check-in. Parking just outside of the guesthouse. Highly recommended!!

The hospitality that Cristina provided was out of this world. I really enjoyed the breakfast, there were fresh and a wide variety of meats/breads/fruits. The coffee and tea was on offer all day. It was like home away from home. The rooms are very modern and was well kept, it had almost looked like I was the first resident also! I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful stay. There is a very well equipped kitchen, oven and microwave for use. The sitting space would allow for some fun card/board game nights I’d imagine!! The town is very gorgeous to explore too with a fun bird art trail and plenty of spots for photography.

It is in a dead town. Breakfast restaurant was not very welcoming.
