Beautiful landscape around the property and the house had everything we needed. There is about 1,5 km or dirt road to reach the house. Communication was easy with the hosts.

Cosy, peaceful and quiet. Lovely outlook- mountain view. Kitchenette was a good setup with well stocked crockery, cutlery and utensils, etc. Very warm and draught free. Plenty of space for just the two of us to stretch out. A very relaxing place to stay.

“Family stay in the countryside”
We were in the appartement. It was really clean and we felt totally like home. There is plenty of space for 4 person and their luggage. It is very calm and a little off the big touristic paths. I totally recommend it.

We stayed in a beautiful little cottage. The whole place is secluded in the middle of the pasture. The cottage is beautifully equipped with a view of Iceland's most famous volcano.

“A great homebase to explore the South of Iceland!”
We started our trip in Iceland in the South and this was a good location from which we could easily explore all the sights in the Southern region. We stayed 5 nights and still would have liked to stay a bit longer.

“A clear recommendation”
Very nice cottage, well-equipped, cozy beds, good heating & very friendly and helpful hosts. Also, a nice view on Mt. Hekla. We were traveling in winter, the cottage is a bit in the middle of nowhere, which can be a very good thing. There was a lot of snow everywhere, but the hosts helped us to manage.

Centralised location for the nearby attraction so that I can be there earlier before other tourist that came with buses. Private enough from other cabin. With good facilities and nice bed.

“Great”
Great little cabin that had everything you could wish for. Nice little useful kitchen, the bed/mattress was great. Cabin is located in a nice and quite rural place. Not far from the main road and in between many of Iceland awesome sights.

Quiet and peaceful location. All facilities for cooking own meals available. We enjoyed the hot tub. The host was easily reachable and responsive.
