This was our favourite. Gorgeous house set amongst a pine forest, with ocean views. Attention to detail at Anofli was second to none and it was a luxurious yet homely stay. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for making our time in Fiskardo the best part of our Greece holiday! The pictures don’t do this property and area justice.

Nested on a beautiful hill overlooking the mountains and sea this beautiful traditional mansion is a serenity haven. Quiet but nearby the cosmopolitan village of Fiscardo. One of the best stays I’ve ever had.

Anofli 1843 is a beautiful house with lovely touches from the hosts, such as a bottle of wine, herbs from the garden and a handwritten letter explaining the history of the house. The outlook was gorgeous and the house has been restored beautifully, with high end fittings. The outdoor living areas are stunning, with beautiful views.

We had a wonderful stay at the Traditional Stone House. It’s a tranquil setting and a comfortable home away from home. The views are beautiful and there are so many lovely outdoor seating areas to enjoy the landscape. We also enjoyed sitting underneath the stars, which shone brightly at night time. Check-in and check-out was very convenient. The hosts were very communicative, so accommodating and flexible to our requests, which we really very much appreciated. The location is great, we visited some lovely restaurants in Fiskardo. We had the perfect end to our trip staying here!! Thank you very much to the hosts for a lovely stay.

Beautiful house with all sorts of unusual decor. 3-4 lovely outside terraces for eating and relaxing. Spotlessly clean with plenty of towels and beach towels. Welcome basket of wine, home made crocheted flower and sliced. Handwritten note from Maria explaining the history of Anofli house which was a very personal touch. Spyros sends detailed directions in advance plus recommendations for restaurants etc if you want to know the best places to eat on the island. Although you can walk to the nearest beach and village we would recommend you hire a car from the airport for supermarket shopping, beach and trips to Fiscardo and beyond. Recommend the boat trip from Fiscardo to Ithaca (45 euros per person) if you want a change of scene. 10-5pm including stop for swim, then coffee then lunch ( in little villages) then final swim on the way back.

I don't often leave reviews (as I have to admit that there is often something that has been a let down or disappointment) but this property was neither. We liked everything about it: the views, outside space, helpful Spyros. Apart from a few useful things missing from the kitchen which we let Maria the owner know about, this was a perfect holiday destination. We ate breakfast and supper listening to the cicadas and goat bells looking down on olive and apricot trees and watching the trails of the boats in the distance crossing to Ithaca. This is a place in which to feel revived.

This is a really comfortable house which feels very homely and easy to settle into. The beds are good, kitchen one of the best I’ve experienced in a holiday home and everything is thoughtfully placed and included with multiple places to relax inside and out. Being so close to a village plus Foki beach and Fiskardo was fabulous too. You feel as if you’re in the middle of the countryside but everything you need is 5-10 mins away by car.

“Great old style house on amazing island.”

Great location in a middle of old village, nearby of restaurants, market, beaches. Very calm and lovely place. You have an amazing view from yard, green hills, sea and Ithaka island. Feel yourself like in legends :) The house itself is a renovated old style house, which is stayed during massive earthquakes. It has a wonderful yard with a lot of sitting areas, green garden with a lot of olive trees. The house itself has 2 floors, 3 bedrooms, 1 child bedroom, 2 bathrooms and kitchen, and 1 extra outside bathroom. Each bedroom has a very comfortable bed and vintage furniture, The kitchen is fully equipped for a long stay. BBQ equipment outside. Great host and owner, friendly neighboors. Cleaning service provided during your stay. Spyros provides with a lot of recommendations. Perfect place to get rest and explore the island. Highly recommended place.
