Overview
This central hotel is just 2 minutes’ walk from Finnsnes Lake and the Finnsnes Ferry Terminal. It offers free WiFi, a lobby bar, along with tea/coffee facilities in each room. A TV, seating area and ironing facilities are included in each soundproofed Senja Hotell guest room. All are renovated in 2016, have décor frrom the Senja Island, and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Free on-site private parking is available at Senja Hotell, as well as a daily buffet breakfast. The reception provides luggage storage and newspapers for guests. Fishing and hiking are common area activities, along with skiing at Sandviklia Ski Centre, 2 km away. The express boat from Finnsnes to Tromsø takes 1 hour.

“Never ever again”
Nothing and when I say nothing I mean literally NOTHING! There is no front desk - you have your keys in an envelope lying around with your name on it. The rooms are ok but did I say NOTHING - yes the breakfast is managed by a ghost! You don´t see anybody at all and when someone comes out of the kitchen yes he´s not speaking english at all.

In the morning they were drilling the walls , and also The room wasn’t very clean , turning on lights you could see a lot of dust on tables , lamps

“Great location for northern lights chasing in Senja”
Location was perfect-on the doorstop of Senja and we hired a car and drove round which was stunning…no natural light pollution so we saw the Aurora brilliantly at night

Cleanliness of the room on very high level. Good atitude of all the people working in the hotell. They do a good job as a hotell and they are much better than many of other hotells with big names. Great design of the rooms, very cosy and warm. Delicious breakfast made with love, and you really can taste it.

“Conveniently close to the Bus/Boat Terminal”
Very well located next to the Bus/Boat Terminal (3mn walk) The staff was very helpful and we're extremely grateful they allowed us to stay in the room a bit longer as our bus was leaving later in the afternoon and on a Sunday afternoon there's nothing to do in Finnsness.

Breakfast was okay, some items were out at times, but slowly the plates/containers were filled. Nothing fancy, but it got the day started. The room was big. Earplugs might be good to have while sleeping, as there was noise from the street. Parking was easy nearby. Basic hotel for those that do not search too much luxury.

The room was spacious and a lot cheaper compared to other hotels nearby Senja. There were options to late check-in which worked easily with a quick phonecall. Late check-out was also a plus.
