“Excellent place to stay for travellers”
Staying at Hotell Hertig Karl felt like staying at an old fashioned inn: a cosy common room downstairs with great food and drinks available, and spacious bedrooms upstairs. The very friendly staff was most accommodating, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Situated in the centre of town, it was easy to get around Filipstad, and conveniently, I was still able to park for free right outside the hotel.

“Beautiful hotel with lovely staff”
The staff was very nice and hospitable. Lovely food in the evening and the breakfast was excellent. I recommend this hotell and will stay here again on occasion.

Location is perfect for my needs, just few steps from the city Centre. Breakfast offered a good range of choices. The restaurant was intimate and the food up to very good standard. They have choosen a very good red as a house wine.
