Overview
Situated in the heart of Filderstadt-Bernhausen, a southern suburb of Stuttgart, this charming, intimate hotel was newly opened in September 2008. Guests of the newly refurbished Hotel Merlin can take advantage of the fact that the nearby S-Bahn station (100 metres) and FILharmonie culture and congress centre (250 metres) are just a few minutes' walk away. Stuttgart airport and the exhibition grounds are just a 5-minute journey away using public transport. After a busy day, you can relax in the cosy rooms of Hotel Merlin. The rooms are furnished in a Mediterranean style and offer freeinternet access. A delicious buffet breakfast is available in the mornings for a small fee, and in the evenings you can enjoy Swabian, international or Italian dishes at one of the nearby restaurants.

Perfect place for a sleep before early flight from Stuttgart the next morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice too. 5 mins walk from train station and train is another 5 mins from airport.

We were very "lucky" that we missed our flight because we discovered this wonderful hotel. Everything about this hotel is perfect. It's in a quiet neighborhood, near the airport in a small and beautiful town. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the owner was very friendly and hospitable.

Being in transit, it was our second stay at this hotel. We asked to get our previous room and it was respected. They fixed the shower since our last stay. They were kind enough to help with our luggage (no lift) and print out a document I needed. Very nice staff.

“I really recommend Hotel Merlin.”
I organized three rooms for the company to stay at Hotel Merlin for a fair that took place. The communication with the Hotel was excellent at any time. We had some changes with the rooms but it was at no point a problem. Also we where offered parking at the Hotel which helped us a lot. They even helped us out with the third room we booked that we didn't need at the end. The location was also perfect as it is really close to the fair area.

Very clearing, very nice proprieter, good position near to center Filderstadt, close to Sttutgart. Good parking possible accomodation with dogs or cat
