This privately run hotel is less than 4 km from Stuttgart Airport and Stuttgart’s exhibition centre. Fritzi’s Art Hotelt offers free internet and free private parking. All rooms are individually decorated in a bright, Mediterranean style, and come with a TV and a desk. Bathrooms are en-suite with a shower and toilet. Fritzi’s Stuttgart has a sauna and hot tub which guests may use for a small extra fee. Fritzi’s Art Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Filderstadt railway station. “No stay, reception closed and dark, 30 min calling ringing different doorbells.”
I did not stay at all, when arriving at reception to check in, I received a message that my replacement flight with KLM to Amsterdam the next morning at 6am was also cancelled, So I rerouted via London-Heathrow, home and London-Luton to Amsterdam the next morning. And cancelled the room reservation at the hotel desk. manager said that was no problem and wished me good luck with the flights. He confirmed my cancellation and now claims a no show, very cheeky! As he was actually the one not showing up at reception! At 6pm int he dark , slippery snow and Ice the hotel reception was pitch dark , closed, after 20-30 minutes ringing 3 different doorbells front ,back and next door, calling the emergency nr at one of the doors, he finally showed up. I was about to check in ,when the KLM message came through and he cancelled my room and called a taxi for me back to the airport.

I absolutely loved my room! I requested the one with the hot tub and having the room in an arched vault was amazing! Thank you so much!
